Graco Contender Go Convertible Car Seat, Winston

Our daughter was comfortable and did not realize she was suddenly in another seat - the magic of Graco led us to believe that she was safe, secure, and comfortable during our entire travels. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this car seat with 2 purposes in mind. 1. A back up car seat in my husband's car. He won't use it every often but when he does, something slim and compact works great for his Kia Soul and isn't too heavy or bulky! 2. An airplane/travel car seat this summer when we take a 6 hour flight. I wanted something that felt sturdier and safer than the popular suggested travel car seat, but still light weight and slim! This one fit the bill, and is PERFECT! I would recommend this car seat to anyone looking for one that is light weight and slim, but still comfortable, sturdy, and has a ton of features (angles adjustment, latch system, cup holders, etc). My baby sleeps great in this seat and is very similar to his main car seat.

We can use the seat in the airplane and car and bring it along it in the airport with no problem! I It being lightweight without sacrificing safety was a big reason we made the purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my 19 month old as a travel car seat. It's very easy to install and much lighter than his every day car seat. He seemed very comfortable in it and it was very easy to transport around the airport with a hand cart. We loved how adjustable the head rest portion is and felt it was very safe. I really have no complaints!

It is very lightweight, durable, easy to install and overall good quality especially for the price! I would highly recommend if you have an upcoming trip and didn’t want to take your primary car seat on board. I have recommended it to so many people.

It's easy to install in any seating position and a breeze to install on airplanes. I couldn't think of an easier option for a family on the go.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great seat for both everyday use and travel. It fits well rear facing in my shallow depth back seat with room for the front passenger to still have leg room. It fits well on the airplane and is lightweight enough to travel with, while not being nearly as flimsy and uncomfortable as other travel seats. Would rate 5 stars if not for the fact that it's pretty tough to get tight rear facing- the only way we have found to get it to tighten enough is to have one adult sit in it while another adult tightens the strap.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a car seat that could be used during travel and finally landed on the Contender Slim. Though more pricey than I envisioned, it meets my needs as a car seat that's lighter weight, easy to carry, and easy to install. I've packed it up for airplane travel twice so far. Not for just on the plane, but for rental cars at arrival due to not trusting Car agency Car seats. The seat has withstood being checked on flights with ease. Of note, I do place it in a padded travel bag before checking. It serves it's intended purpose.

The car seat itself is probably very comfortable, but the materials that the cushion was made out of was very disappointing. When I opened the box and I installed the car seat my daughter used it only once and the thread from the cushion was coming apart. So I decided to return it. I think it's a comfortable car seat but because of the materials that it's made out of I don't recommend it for durability.
