Graco Contender Slim Convertible Car Seat, West Point, Grey

Our daughter was comfortable and did not realize she was suddenly in another seat - the magic of Graco led us to believe that she was safe, secure, and comfortable during our entire travels. We can use the seat in the airplane and car and bring it along it in the airport with no problem! I It being lightweight without sacrificing safety was a big reason we made the purchase!

When it was time to buy a new one, I was looking specifically for one that was lightweight, FAA-certified, and would likely fit cold for a long time. This car seat fit the bill! I was actually surprised how light it is, in comparison to our other Graco convertible seats. Our kid seems very comfortable, too!

I just bought a second one for my newborn. It feels sturdy, harness is easy to use, and forward and rear facing install has clear instruction for recline position.

The ideal seat for the space we had and it feels very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone who needs a safe ride for the little one but also comfortable for the front passenger/driver.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my 19 month old as a travel car seat. It's very easy to install and much lighter than his every day car seat. He seemed very comfortable in it and it was very easy to transport around the airport with a hand cart. We loved how adjustable the head rest portion is and felt it was very safe. I really have no complaints!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a car seat that could be used during travel and finally landed on the Contender Slim. Though more pricey than I envisioned, it meets my needs as a car seat that's lighter weight, easy to carry, and easy to install. I've packed it up for airplane travel twice so far. Not for just on the plane, but for rental cars at arrival due to not trusting Car agency Car seats. The seat has withstood being checked on flights with ease. Of note, I do place it in a padded travel bag before checking. It serves it's intended purpose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this car seat a lot. My only hesitation is that i should have spent the extra money to by one of the swivel models, as getting the baby in and out of the car is easier with that. Other than that....this seat is very good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great seat for both everyday use and travel. It fits well rear facing in my shallow depth back seat with room for the front passenger to still have leg room. It fits well on the airplane and is lightweight enough to travel with, while not being nearly as flimsy and uncomfortable as other travel seats. Would rate 5 stars if not for the fact that it's pretty tough to get tight rear facing- the only way we have found to get it to tighten enough is to have one adult sit in it while another adult tightens the strap.
