Graco Simple Sway Baby Swing, 5.5 - 30 lb, Abbington

This swing is so excellent and our six month old grandson loves it so much that he has one at home and at both grandparents’ houses. He’s loved it since was a newborn and still uses it every day. The music and sounds are nice although we don’t use them because we read to him or listen to a playlist while he swings. He loved to sleep for little catnaps in the swing when he was little. Now he likes rocking in it and watch us fold clothes while we listen to music and dance for his entertainment. Lately he enjoys winding down in his swing after a long playtime when he’s tired but not read for sleep. I’ve noticed those times also coincide with when his grandpa is lounging in his recliner. We tried three other, more expensive, fancy gadget swings before this one. He hated all of them. Luckily he loved this one since the first time we put him in it.

Swing is a good price compared to other brands and we love the vibration feature. It would be nice if the vibration feature didn’t use batteries was connected to the plug in.

I like the white nose and the music options. The songs are cute. The ability to increase/decrease the sound level is very helpful. You need 4 D batteries for the vibration function but the swing can work on electric. My grandson is pacified by all functions of the swing. Great product.

Affordable, baby loves it and immediately fell asleep. Baby hates the mamaroo and always cried in it. Now I feel b like a weight it lifted finally something that soothes her besides me swaying her in my arms.

Second time I have purchased this swing, it is a great simple baby swing, perfect when you need to do some stuff and put an alert baby in this. 4 stars only because the music could be better and if it had one smaller slot for preemie babies it would be as close to perfect as one product could get. Still worth it as is!

The swing has a simple design and doesn’t take up much space, but overall it was underwhelming. The swaying motion isn’t very smooth and sometimes stops randomly, even with fresh batteries. Speed settings don’t make much of a difference, and the music and sounds are very limited and tinny. It worked occasionally to calm my baby, but not consistently enough to rely on. For the price, I expected better functionality and reliability.

This swing worked perfect for about 2 weeks. My baby had a hard time napping until we invested in this swing and then she was finally able to sleep all night through. Then one day, less than 2 weeks into having it, the motor just went out. It still plays music but doesn’t rock at all. Which sucks because she instantly went back to having a hard time sleeping once it broke.

cheaply made for the price. it cost $149. the music is very low you can barely hear it. it does not rotate angles unlike other competitors out there. swinging motion is too fast even on lowest setting (6 speed settings). andbthe toys that hang above the baby is nothing but star plushes tied onto a hanger (photos attached). i expect GRACO a well reputable company when it comes to baby items to be better. only "pro" (as in 1 thing) about this swing is the seating for the baby. its got good cushion to it and built sturdy. for $149 you can get a better swing from Ingenuity (brand). Also the 3 stars are just a clip on. has no spinning function whatsoever.

I purchased the swing for my daughters first child,my first grandchild. Graco was my to brand with my children. The Simple-Sway swing come to find out, didnt work from day one. Not the music or the vibrations especially not the sway, not with the provided electrical cord or batteries. My daughter just informed me of this almost 6 months after her son was born. being a busy new mother and not wanting to disappoint me she kept it to herself. She and her husband did every troubleshooting measure they recommend shy of replacement. After investigation on the internet it turns out that she was not the only one with a issue with that particular swing. I DO NOT recommend this swing it just became more of a hassle than its worth, so im told.
