I bought this for my 15 month grandson for my daughter's Jeep Compass. It was super easy to install and he fell asleep in it while we were standing next to the car complimenting ourselves on installing it ourselves! He rarely slept in his other seat that was part of a travel system. I tried it in my Jeep Renegade and it didn't fit rear facing. In Pa we need rear facing to age 2.
This is the best seat, EVER! I have the same seat (older version, of course) for my 5 year old. The updates are awesome! I love the tabs for keeping the buckles out of the way. Its a breeze to take in and out if you’re switching between vehicles. I will always choose this seat, hands down!
I bought this carseat for my 9 month old son as he was outgrowing his infant seat. It's very comfortable with lots of cushion and the reclining option is great. It will come in handy when I eventually turn him forward facing and he falls asleep. The easy pull off option is also great for when you have to wash it.
I had this shipped to my house and it was here within three days!! Faster than store pick up. Car seat is great. Won't recline for forward facing but it's leaned back enough naturally for your toddler to fall asleep comfortably. Would definitely recommend!!
Before I bought this car seat, I researched several different brands for several months, with safety features being my top priority. I ultimately decided on this one and have not been disappointed! Not only does it have all of the safety features I was looking for, it also has convenience features that are nice, as well as a great design! My granddaughter lives with me and goes with me everywhere I go, and I feel confident every time I drive off, knowing she's safe and sound. The only downfall that I can think of is the pockets made to hold the straps out of the way while putting a little one in, don't always hold in place as well as I'd like, but I feel like once she grows a little more and there is more length on the straps, they should hold in place and out of the way just fine. Overall, I would highly recommend! Thanks for the peace of mind Graco!
I bought this for my third grandchild. I was impressed with the great features and ease of installation. It is great for a newborn and with an easy removal of the extra head and body pads for toddler use. This was a big plus since I will need to convert the usage several times in the same week.
This seat works great for my 1 year old rear facing grand baby and I use it for my 2 1-2 year old forward facing grand child also. It is easy to change from front to rear facing. There was a problem with the silver buckles that go into the crotch buckle. They have an angle shape to them that was poking into the 1 year old and 2 1/2 year olds thighs. My husband took the cover off the car seat and found that one of the silver buckles that connect into the crotch buckle was on backwards. After adjusting that and making sure the crotch buckle was in the first slot (slot closest to seat 1st slot) then it was so much better and no more rubbing on babies thighs.
We purchased this car seat to have an extra for our 2nd vehicle. We already have the Extend2Fit, which we love, but we didn't want to spend a fortunate on another car seat for 1 child. For the price, it is just what we need. It is comfortable and has great features. The back is open so getting the latch or seat belt through for forward facing is a breeze. I have not used it for rear facing yet, so I cannot comment much on that, but I can say I am a little disappointed that there is only 1 recline option. My son is 21 months and on the smaller side so we continue to rear face him on long trips and busy roads. When I placed him rear facing, he leans back pretty far like he did when he was an infant in a bucket seat. So instead we have used the Extend2Fit. He is above the minimum to forward face, so I use this seat forward facing for around the neighborhood daily for short commutes only. However, he seems to enjoy this seat and seems comfortable. I have not had to wash it yet, but I do love the rapid remove feature. The Extend2Fit is such a pain to take apart and put back together. I have removed the cover for the Size4Me and it is a breeze. You can even remove it to make sure you properly thread the seatbelt or latch for rear facing. Ultimately, to be able to use these seat for 6 years and have the ease of cleaning it because we all know toddlers are messy, I am happy with the price and purchase!
Great car seat. My ONLY complaint is that there is a little ball in the side of the seat to help you level it and it rolls around while driving making a rattling sound. A water tube with a leveling bubble would have been better and quieter. :o). I still highly recommend!
Our 2 month old is so much happier in this seat than she was in her newborn seat! PROS: Doesn’t take up a lot of room in the car Very comfortable Easy to correctly install and to remove from car Great head support Wide weight range Good price point Easy to wash cover Easy to adjust harness straps CONS: It’s hard and time-consuming to tighten while the newborn insert is in. You need to slide the chest clip and shoulder pads down and tighten 2-3 times before it’s tight enough, and then slide them back up. You have to use 2 hands to wedge the shoulder pads under the newborn insert headrest in order to get the chest clip high enough. Not a deal breaker, but definitely annoying when taking baby in and out often. Hopefully it will tighten easier when she is on a bigger setting/doesn’t have the insert anymore. Overall it’s a great seat and we are very happy with our purchase!
