Graco Toddler Safety Guardrail (Dowels), Olive

Fits the melrose on its existing bar. No bar change needed for these rails. Cheapest and sturdy enough option if you don't mind the look of a slatted crib and a dowel rail. Have to keep a rolled towel to fill the gap until the child grows tall enough.

I read somewhere that this guardrail kit may not work with the Benton crib with drawer, but it installed just fine! Get this product while it's in stock, they tend to be behind on production.

The toddler railing was very easy to install fits my graco crib perfectly. I was thinking about buying a toddler bed but this works just fine!

i expected this to be a part of the crib when i bought it, because it said 5 in 1 or 5 stages.. but you have to keep buying parts to upgrade it.

First off, this is NOT a Graco brand rail as it is listed to be. Major points off for that. If I was going to get something universal I would have spent $30 on a universal one and not $75 for one I was under the assumption that it was name brand. Secondly, and probably because it isn't Graco brand, the holes didn't match up on the crib I have. So I had to create my own hole for it which was a pain. I went through 4 screws before finding one that would work. The instructions were alright. Overall I gave 3 stars for being mislead into believing this was a Graco brand rail when it very clearly says universal on the box and the fact the holes didn't line up with my Graco crib. It does look very nice though and I'm happy with that.

so overall its a nice piece to add to your crib. but if you have a child that really rolls around and leans onn rails this may now hold them in bed. its not that strong and will bend with weight. but it does work for a child to rolls alittle bit then moves away from it to sleep again. its like a warning for them to know they are close to the edge.
