Graco Travel Lite Portable Bassinet, Brixton

We just had our last baby a few weeks ago and we also just moved from the Northeast down South. For us this means so many more hours outside and this bassinet is our newest sidekick. I can bring this outside and have it set up in under a minute. It provides great shade for our little princess and the fine mesh sides allow the breeze to sweep through while keeping creepy crawlies out. This is so compact it's easy to keep anywhere and the kids don't mind hauling it to and fro when we take it on the go. While the canopy does expand to full coverage from the sun it does not have a zip or button closure so it can be vulnerable to flying bugs if used outside. I have found that I can put a play mat inside so that hanging toys can provide the baby with visual stimulation. This is a great addition to our baby gear line up and by far one of my favorites.

It is simple to set up and the portability factor is awesome, as it can be flexed where we need it to help #3 stay confined while trying to wrangle the other 2 into place. It is a bit smaller than anticipated and likely will jot be useable much past 6-9 months depending on size, but right now, it has been awesome. We mostly use it outside on the back porch or backyard and the sunshade that is included helps keep our little one shielded from the sun and elements.

I love how easy it is to setup, take down and travel with. The canopy is an awesome addition which helps block out the sun and offers a great space for naps. The canopy conveniently stores in the carry bag, along with the compact bassinet making it super easy to take anywhere and everywhere; even 3 year old big sister can carry it and loves to help! I absolutely love this bassinet and am thankful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing it to me.

We loved using it for outside at home and on the go! Definitely great for smaller infants who you have on the go often. Folds up smaller than a camping chair and has a similar style bag to carry. Very convenient all around. Only thing being bottom could use more padding but a pad under or blanket easily solves that problem!

The bassinet is a convenient option when traveling with little ones. It is put together straight out of the box, besides the canopy where you clip on the attachment pieces. The canopy is easy to assemble and slides right onto corner edges of the bassinet. I love that the canopy expands and can cover the side or the whole top of the bassinet. The sides are made of mesh - breathable - material which is great for the hot outdoors. I love how easily transportable the bassinet is, and that it comes with a bag to carry everything in. Perfect for ball games, as well as indoor use! I love everything about the travel bassinet, it's compact, portable, easy to store, and the fabric comes off with a snap so it can be cleaned! Definitely recommend this Graco Brixton Travel Lite Bassinet for those traveling with young babies!

As soon as it arrived on my doorstep, I knew this was going to be a game changer. The box was so small and light. The box was half the size or maybe even less than half the size of my pack and play when it is folded and bagged! I am a teacher with a newborn and a very active older child, so we spend most of our summer outside. This thing is so easy to take with and set up at soccer practice, the playground, or even our backyard swing set. I'm so excited to be able to be active with my older child and not have my youngest constrained to a stroller. This bassinet literally has a one step fold, so it feels no more cumbersome than taking along a stroller. My favorite feature in terms of safety is the sun shade. It is adjustable, so you can make sure your baby is still covered regardless of movement. Sun protection is incredibly important to me, especially on a little one that is too young for sunblock. I use this indoors all the time too because we visit grandparents often. Obviously we don't need the sun shade in doors, but that is not the only thing keeping this bassinet safe. I have no hesitation using this is as a sleep surface for my newborn because the mesh sides and firm mattress keep everything safe. I thought I was going to have to lug around my pack and play every time we visit my parents, but now I just bring this bassinet. It is so much easier. This is literally FIFTEEN pounds lighter than my pack and play. I'm obsessed! Thank you.

My husband and I were about to take our three-month old baby, Charlie, or her first road trip. We were taking her to a family wedding, and we were totally stressed out about what to pack, how to pack it, and all the logistics of having such a young baby do an overnight stay away from home. The Graco Travel Lite Portable Bassinet was a godsend. It took up almost no room in the back of our car, and it gave us a portable and comfortable place for our baby to sleep away from home. I was glad that we figured out how to do setup and takedown prior to doing the road trip, though, because I think either the instructions left out a step or we didn't read them correctly. In order to fully extend the bassinet and snap it into place using the gray latch, we needed to unsnap a couple of the top snaps that keep the fabric around the top of the bassinet in place. It was easy to re-fasten those snaps afterwards, and I'm glad we didn't end up breaking it through our initial efforts. All in all, I have loved having this bassinet in my repertoire of baby-comfort and transport items. The bassinet is compact and is easy to store, as I always just keep it with my stroller so that I know where it is, and it is easily accessible. It has been especially useful going into spring. I was worried about having the time to clear out my garden, and being able to keep the baby near me, in view and in a safe place, made the whole experience possible. Also, she loved being able to be outside and feel the wind on her face for the first time. I would not have been able to create that experience for her without this bassinet, and it has been one of my favorite ever experiences with my baby. This is a sound investment for any parent who wants to be able to more easily incorporate having an infant into their everyday life.

Each has their own great benefits but I was so excited to try the Graco Travel Lite Portable Bassinet, as I have not tried anything quite like it. I number one, love the portability of this bassinet. While it's awesome for around the house and moving up and downstairs as needed, it's equally awesome for taking outside or to my parents. I loved how small it folded and how light it was to carry. Making it easy to put away when not in use and not take up too much room when going on trips. And it was very easy to set up and take down, even with screaming kids running around. This is truest a great bassinet for everyday or only for travel, I would definitely recommend it to anyone. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bassinet shocked me from the moment I opened up the small box it came in. I knew that it was portable but I was not expecting it to be so compact! Having the bassinet be compact was immediately one of my favorite things; having four kids to back up and take somewhere uses up a lot of room, so having a small bassinet helps reduce the amount of space needed when vacationing with a baby. The next thing that I really liked about the bassinet included it being lightweight (my three-year-old can carry it without difficulty). Having your hands full with a baby and toddler means things need to be easy and quick to set up and this bassinet provides both – it is very easy to set up with one hand and it is also extremely quick to set up. With summer quickly approaching I am excited about the full coverage canopy that this bassinet uses; I will be able to take it outside and ensure that my little one is fully protected from the sun! The last two items really brought me peace of mind as a mom. The bassinet has mesh sides for safety and a soft bottom so that it provides comfort for my little one while she sleeps. So far I have only been able to use the bassinet inside thanks to the eternal winter we have had this season but I am extremely excited to take this bassinet to the park or pool this summer! With all products, there are always pros and cons. Overall my husband and I really like the Graco Travel Lite Portable Bassinet but there are a few things that we are a bit disappointed about. The first is the storage spot for the canopy; there is a pouch on the outside of the carry case that is meant to hold the canopy when traveling, unfortunately, it does not fully store the canopy and it makes carrying the bassinet a bit more awkward. The bassinet is only good for maybe the first year of life, or up to 20 pounds; I would love to see the size increased just a little more to allow a longer use time for such a good product. The final thing that we didn't like was that the canopy doesn't “lock” in place on top of the bassinet which makes it easy for little hands to pull the canopy off of the bassinet. It would be great to have a locking mechanism with an easy release to ensure that the canopy stays secure while in use. I was given this bassinet to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The graco bassinet can be easily be set up with just one hand—definitely one of my favorite features of the product. It has a sun canopy that covers the entire bassinet so it can be used outdoors. I'm looking forward to spending lots of nice days outside with it. It can also be used indoors to keep baby safe while sleeping or playing. It folds up easily and is very lightweight. I like that all the pieces fit in the bag and that it can be stored easily when not in use. Its small size also makes it easy to take places. I also really like the bright color.
