This car seat is an absolute must-have! I have two more kids who use it in different colors. What I love most is that it has a cup holder, which is perfect for our frequent travels. All three seats can comfortably fit on the same row without any issues.
I bought two of these backless booster seats for my grandchildren for when I have to transport them. These seats sold me when I read that "This seat is Graco® ProtectPlus Engineered: a combination of the most rigorous crash tests that helps to protect your child in frontal, rear, and rollover crashes; additional testing based on the New Car Assessment Program and for extreme car interior temperatures and will safely transport your big kid from ages 4 -10, from 40 - 100 pounds and up to 57 inches tall." They are easy to use, comfortable and the retractable cupholders are an added plus. My grandchildren are so happy with these booster seats. They feel "grown up" and are safe.
We bought this after my husband wrecked his truck, the car seat we had in there previous to the front end accident upon vehicle inspection that other company car seat WAS SPLIT IN HALF! (brand new, no prior accidents, correct install, not expired, etc) Thank the heavens our son was not in the vehicle during the accident! The other carseat did absolutely nothing in matters of protection, even with the seat belt i feel he would've been hurt badly. installed properly with their anchors, i say this to say i am so much more comfortable with our son using this new seat (with no back) than the other company!! plus the cup holders store inside the seat which makes it even more convenient. Pay a little more for the better brands, your lil ones are worth way more!!
We've bought multiple of these for our family car and other grandparent's cars. They are light, easily portable. My kids love the little cup holders. One note, my kids mention a little discomfort when we go on an extremely long road trip to visit distant friends/family. (We're talking 10 hrs), but honestly anyone would be uncomfortable at that point. Day to day though, this works perfect and is easy to clean as well!
The Graco TurboBooster 2.0 booster seat is great for travel. It can accommodate children 3-4 years of age all the way up to 8-10 years. The seat is also convenient for children to buckle themselves in independently. Definitely worth the price for a vacation seat or even everyday in a car. It does not attach to the vehicle’s seat, so it can easily be moved from car to car.
We needed to use a booster seat between full size car seats, so we needed the booster to have a smaller footprint. This fits perfectly and our child still can easily reach the buckle himself. I love the connected seatbelt adjuster that holds the belt down to the appropriate level on my child’s chest.
I got it for my almost 5 year old son and he loves it. He likes the cup holders that can tuck away when not using. He's barely big enough for it so I use booster seat when in other vehicles and car seat in my vehicle. Mainly because it's easier to move from one vehicle to another and lightweight.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and my 5 yo was very excited for the upgrade to a big boy seat! I recommend using a safety strap to secure it because on a turn, the booster can slide off our leather seats.
Unfortunately, this was a mistaken on my behalf. There are no straps in the back to secure it. You must use a shoulder belt so the car seat moved around a lot. I have a similar model but you can anchor it down for safety purposes. I wouldn't recommend it.
I would rather have a booster with a latch system. This booster slides all over the place. We replaced it with a Chicco high back booster with a latch system.
