They are very comfortable. Not too tight. I wear them to work where I stand all day.
Socks were good
I was happy to finally find the stockings I've been searching for . Took several years. I had a couple of pairs from long ago, and they wore out, especially in the toe area. I am not diabetic, and am not heavy. I'm glad I chose size small based on a previous review. They fit fine. My only concern is that the top binding is too tight. I even took out the hem to loosen them up, but stockings still bind too much at the top. But yes, I plan to order more. Great for winter.
The problem with buying these socks is that the thikness of the fabric is not indicated in the coy. The socks I ordered were overly thick, and so unwearable. I returned them for a credit.
While the graduated compression and Diabetic monikers apply the real description is better rated as full compression. After weariing the socks for 3 hours my legs started to swell above the socks so much so that I could not get a finger underneath the sock to remove it and had to cut the sock off of each leg. My special problem with edema of both legs resulted from open heart surgery five years ago which has not gone completely
gone away. The current product which I am using while graduated are very low compression. I have tried other compression products and the end result has been the same and I also get extremely cold legs as a result. I like the product but it way too much compression for me to use.
in the picture these stockings looked exactly like the ones I loved that lasted for years. But the material was not as soft feeling and while it said it fit a large calf my leg was swollen after surgery and after a day of wearing them became too tight on the legs. So washed them and will try and see how they do after i recover from the surgery. But they still feel harsh on my skin and not as soft as they looked but they were thicker than the usual one and that is what I wanted.
Didn't fit well. It is enroute to you right now. I would appreciate a refund. Thank you.
Since the catalogue listing did not indicate the thickness of the stockings, I assumed that they would be the normal thickness, so that my feet would fit easily inside my shoes.
However, these stockings were so thick that it was actually painful to stuff my feet into my shoes and try to walk.. I have returned them, but in the future your catalogue listing ought to indicate the thickness of each type of stocking.
Buying from this company through Walmart is a real hassle if you want to return it. Husband decided he didn't want them. If you can even get a number, you still pay for the return.. I just left them at the customer service desk for them to discard. $27 worth of socks. Not ok
I'm Diabetic and I;m always looking for good socks, these are not them, very flimsy and could not even get them over my foot , oh well. so I sent them back ,well that was 2 months ago and haven't heard a word
