Granite Stone 6.5 Quart Dutch Oven, Non-stick, Enameled, Black

I always cook and ironstone butts and they got to be too heavy for me so these granite Stone cuts or lightweight cook beautifully and look beautiful on my stove and I would recommend them to anyone.....

Nice size pot that cooks really well, but the lid knob does get hot, so be careful- other than that, A great pot.

As I looked through the many types out there it would become discouraging because so many need special care. My children help with dinner a lot and so when I am buying things to use in there I need to make sure that they are easy to clean and don't scratch easily. That is what drive me to get this one. I don't have to worry about my kids scratching it or washing it wrong. I love that it can be heated up to 500 degrees because I can throw it in the smoker if I want. Perfect for any one wanting a good Dutch oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Dutch oven is so great. I have made roast, stew and even baked fish in it already. It doesn't stick and it's so easy and convenient. Easy to clean up and doesn't stay hot long. It also seals good so it bakes evenly.

It does a great job of evenly cooking and cooks to a nice temp in the oven. I have made three things in this and it's been a success every time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pot is deep and not too wide so it fits well on any burner, even the smaller ones. The pot is light weight, but reinforced on the bottom so no concerns of warping from heat. This is a naturally non-stick surface without any teflon. I have others like it and instructions are to eat the pot first, then put food in it. It helps keep it non-stick. So far, this works with this pot as well. I have a family of 5, 4 of them adult (or near-adult) males so I cook large portions and this pot serves the purpose.

When I took it out of the package, it was pretty light and I had my doubts because Dutch ovens are typically on the heavy side. However, my doubt we're quickly erased when I started cooking in this. It cooks beautifully and evenly. It is now my go-to in the kitchen. Clean-up is super easy. And the design is beautiful just like the traditional Dutch ovens and something I love seeing displayed on my kitchen. Great product, highly recommend!

But then I feel like it might be TOO light. Turns out it works just fine, I've made a lot of great tasting stuff with it now. I definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pan is a great alternative to the traditional Dutch oven. It is light and deep rather than heavy and shallow like the traditional model. The nonstick interior is slick (no pun intended). It would be a great alternative pot for those who don't want to use oil. There are two downsides, it does not work on all stove types, and the handles get very hot when cooking. Be careful, use with caution but I recommend this product.
