Great product overall. I am very happy with the quality and so far the non-stick feature is working phenomenally. I have a gas stove, and I have found that these pots and pans cook way more evenly than any others I have used. I have used them for everything from boiling potatoes, to frying pork chops, and I was surprised at how easy they are to clean. I have cooked so much food with these pots and pans and nothing has stuck at all. My food didn't burn at all, and it cooked evenly throughout. I also love the look of the Granite bottom is also an amazing finish to the product.

I have to admit, these pots were far better than I'd expected. I thought because of the size of the set and the price that they'd be more of a light-duty, use-it-for-a-year and then toss it away set. This is definitely not the case. Now, I've only been using them for about two weeks, but based on my experiences so far, this set is going to be long-lasting. The best thing about these pans is that they are well-made. The "granite" coating is thick. The bases are thick so they distribute heat evenly. The handles are heavy-duty stainless steel and not flimsy in the least. The lids are nicely constructed and have a nice solid feeling to them. (On a side note, because these are standard-sized pans, the lids are interchangeable with some other brands.) For the price, these are very nice and the fact that they have a unique niche to fill in the kitchen makes them that much better. So aside from their "feeling" which is incredible, I will say that using these pans is every bit as easy as the advertisements describe. You really can cook without any oils or lubricants and you really can use metal utensils without scarring the coating. We have made omelets and fried chicken and sauteed chicken, fried cauliflower rice, chicken korma, etc. and have had great results every single time. I've never had to scrub these pans after using them and they practically rinse off with water. I have hand-washed them and used the dishwasher and both ways they clean up very easily. I really like the double-boiler as it makes a nice steamer for vegetables and rice. It's large capacity makes it really stand out in this set. I was surprised it came with such a variety of pans, but I'm happy because it lets me choose from several. Overall I'm seriously impressed with the Granite Rock cookware set and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a non-stick pan. It's a great alternative set that allows for burn or scorch-proof low-fat cooking.

Right out of the box, the first feature you will notice is how light the weight of the pans is. I have RA and so my hands are weak, so I try to stay away from heavy pans. This set is wonderful weight! These are really nice looking cookware too! But the best feature about these pans is the way they cook up your food. I only used a dab of oil and began cooking. Right away I noticed how well the pan heated up. The pan distributes the heat evenly throughout the pan, so you don't have to 'scoot' the food to the middle of the pan to heat. All my veggies heated up evenly and sautéed beautifully with no oil! If I am cooking chicken and veggies, they easily slide out of the pan onto your plate leaving no clean up. Just wipe the pan…no mess, no fuss. I just love the excellent quality of these pans. The sauce pans are fabulous! They heat up and boil water quickly, love that! This is such a wonderful set of cookware; I have already thrown out my old pans!!!

I first read no oil or butter needed I was scared to ruin these on my first attempt at using them. I wanted to really put them through the biggest mess test for this house anyway breakfast first Pancakes then over easy eggs. To clean you wipe with a damp sponge super simple no hard scrubbing at all and for me eggs have always left me a pan that has to be soaked overnight to clean. Today I tossed out all my other pots and pans because none of them compare to what these GraniteRock ones can do. They have a sleek modern look no multi colors to coordinate but the neutral tones match any kitchen décor. The pots all having a lid that fit are a big thing because I personally hate splatter mess that gets all over my kitchen without a lid. I do wish this set came with an extra-large pan for family size stir fry type meals. I highly recommend this to anyone who is a messy cook like me but hates to clean up the mess. I would highly recommend this GraniteRock set to anyone looking for a great Christmas present or even a Birthday gift.

Now being skeptic of as seen on tv products this was one I was curious about and I was amazed how heavy duty it feels and performs cooking. Granite on the pans are strong and seems to have no problem resisting anything sticking on them. I cooked two eggs like it says with no butter or oil but did put a bit of water so I fried eggs with water. It was so awesome and they just slip right off but nothing like others I've tried, this actually didn't need help to slide the egg off. Cleaning was like watching a penguin dry off, granite pans make the water bead and run off the minute it touches water , the only thing I've notice I wasn't fond of was the handle gets hot and I didn't experience that with other pots especially since you can put the granite pans in the oven ,so handle with care and don't let them soak for any reason so it keeps it like new. Also, the granite rock pots and pans heat up fast and cook a steak fast and through. You get two pans,three lids, three pots and a steamer. Definitely great present for people that love to cook and try making new dishes. Enjoy

Definitely not your ordinary cookware. I've never heard of this brand or anything of it and I'm impressed. They are somewhat porous and not a smooth surface like my other pans and pots. I thought it would have the eggs i cooked stick to it and get stuck but it didn't. It's a easy clean because the eggs I cooked left no residue. I was also able to brown some hot dogs on it with out having to use oil and not have them stick. I really liked that.

I like this set of pots and pans. I like that they are dishwasher safe, which is a must. Hopefully they won't fade like my previous set from a different company did, even tough they were supposedly dishwasher safe too. I also like that they are oven safe up to 500 degrees, but the handle does get hot. They do seem to cook more evenly than my last set. No hot spots. This set comes with a steamer, but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. Each lid has a vent hole in it.

I have bought so many cookware sets over the years, that I have honestly lost count. A few years ago, I dished out a pretty hefty amount to get a "good" brand and now after 2+ years, I have started having the same issues as I have had with all the other brands in the past. I could not wait for this set to get here to try it out. After unpacking everything and reading all the contents, I found out that it is not recommended for cooking with oil or butter. Unfortunately, living in the "south", I feel like that eliminates a LOT of foods. It does say that if you choose to use oil or butter to do so at a low heat so that is what I have been doing. So far, I have not had any issues when it comes to cooking. This cookware set includes an 8.5" frying pan, a 10.25" frying pan with lid, 1.5 qt sauce pan with lid, 2.5 qt sauce pan with lid, a 5.0 qt pot with lid and a stainless steamer that can be placed on the 5.0 qt pot or the large frying pan. So far, I have made a huge array of meals using this cookware set. The first time I used the frying pan, I made pancakes. Since I had never cooked with it before, I set the stove to the same as I do my older set. It started burning the pancakes I was cooking. After adjusting the temperature, they turned out better than usual and perfectly golden brown. I feel like with this set, you do not have to cook at such a high temperature as compared to other brands. I like how many pieces are included in this set but I do wish that the small 8.5" frying pan came with a lid. This set states that it can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher. I will say that washing it in the dishwasher seems to be discoloring the bottom already which does concern me (see included picture). Also, the handles on this set seem so bare and "ugly" compared to other brands I have owned, but they do no get hot to the touch which I found surprising. Overall, I think this is an "okay" set that I will continue using as long as it last but I will not be buying another set due to the appearance & how the bottom is already getting discolored after washing. I think it would be a good set for someone that just really needs a new set and does not have a lot of money to put towards a whole new expensive set.

These pans are not what all the reviewers said they are. I used the small frying pan to cook a fried egg and it stuck to the pan, I then used the large frying pan to make a omlet and that stuck to the pan worse then the fried egg. I am so disappointed in these pans. I will be returning them. Worst pans I have ever bought.

the small sauce pan was bent out of shape and the lid has a dent. the package they came in was not damage so they pack it that way right from the start.
