I am always skeptical when trying any "quick fix" I bought this out of desperation as my puppy is an indoor dog that has to be home while I am away at work, and began tearing her puppy pads, it's been a week of spritzing this on the pads before putting them down and she's not torn a single one, this also worked on a chair that she's been just starting to put her teeth into, I'm sure it doesn't work for everyone, but for a pup that has her own chew things and no real behavior problems yet, as a preventative to her learning the "joy" of ripping a chair cushion to bits, this has been like a miracle, she still uses the potty pads when she needs to wee while I'm away, but has yet to tear them. as a nip/playbite deterrent it's not so effective, as it smells strongly and she's just careful to avoid tasting it. 10/10 imo though, I will probably continue to buy and use.

When first applied, the bitter apple is very effective in keeping my puppy from chewing on items such as furniture. But must be reapplied frequently. It could be that the wood is sucking it up and it isn't the product's fault. Lol.

I like it, it helps. But I ordered two bottles and I only got one bottle.

Seems to work, my GSD puppy was chewing on the corner of a dog bed, I sprayed it and she went back to the pig ear she had been chewing on.

Arrived with puncture hole in top of bottle (no damage to package). Inside packaging soaked. Only prints return label with Fed Ex. - Nearest office 30 minute drive one-way into town! Cost more in gas than the $13. to write-off item plus hour drive round trip.

Grannick's Bitter Apple spray did'nt work for our two Cava Poo puppies who continue to chew on the outside of our house. They've plenty and variety of chew toys.

do not buy this you might as well buy a bottle of rubbing alcohol such a waste of money it's garbage it doesn't work it smells just like alcohol and has 20% isopropanol (rubbing alcohol) I don't even know why it's called bitter apple nothing about it reminds me of apples it's crap just go buy a bottle of rubbing alcohol and a spray bottle and you're still paying a third of what this cost and it probably works better don't waste your money

I read reviews before purchasing and had hoped this would work for my cat, but it doesn't seem particularly effective. He runs away when I first spray my shoes, but he'll come back and rub and bite them after a minute or two.

This product is 14 years old per the mfg code on the bottom. I love the product because when it is not old it works wonderfully. Giving 5 stars because the problem is the seller. I will give them a bad review.
