It doesn't have an odor that a human can detect but the little furry babies take off immediately after getting a whiff of it. Doesn't stain fabrics or leather oe wiring. It does the trick %26 isn't harmful to pets. My vet said she highly recommended it %26 it works. The only call out is that you need to use it every 8 hours if the little one insists on biting the thing you want them to avoid. After a few times they finally get the message even the stubborn ones(LOL). I highly recommend it. Got 3 bottles at a time so I still am using the first one %26 it's a week already.
This was recommended to me to control unwanted chewing on furniture. I sprayed on anything the puppy aimed for. Table and chair legs. Wood furniture in living room. Worked great for us. I sprayed everyday until she caught on. It didn't take long. And of coarse we gave her plenty of other acceptable chew toys to teach her what she could chew on. Puppies are a lot of work. They need training and guidance. This product is actually made to spray on animals to keep them from chewing on and irritating themselves. It is safe to use.
i tried myself first sprayed on my hand and licked. man I won't do that twice. and taste sticks to toung😖 you can't just spit it out. man thats bitter stuff . so now i know what to expect. (it does work!!) believe me 😇 OR try it. p s. i told you so🤣
we've been using bitter apple since the 80's because it works!
This is an essential for when you swear your sweet puppy is part alligator.
Seemed to work ok. I bought this for 2 reasons 1) to deter cats from biting on fake Christmas tree and 2) deter kittens that are 5 months old to stop trying to use momma cat (who is a kitten herself, just 4 months older) as an ongoing pacifier. The tree seemed to work. I think that once sprayed they left the tree alone. Now…. To these grown kittens still trying to use their teenage momma cat as a pacifier…. Well, somewhat works. It does seem to deter them a bit but sometimes I feel as if they've gotten used to the taste. Or maybe I just didn't put as much on mom. So it works but all depends on day. Kittens are fully eating and eat more than their teenage mom at this point so it's time to ween them. I think they do it out of comfort. I adopted the entire family so they've been able to stay together but this is the one thing I hope they grow out of. I've tried everything. This helps a bit. Doesn't bother mom cat. She seemed to look relieved at times when left alone.
This spray made my dog paws bump up and it also burned her when applied.
The wrong product was sent. I ordered the new version but they sent the old version. There was no label or return information or contact information so I couldn't return it. Too late now .. I will not order from this company again.
Had high hopes for this product to keep our dog from licking her legs. Alas, the dog seems to love the taste. I used it several times so I don't think I can return it.
My dog was struggling with allergies, and this did not deter from chewing herself. (Medication for allergy helped over time to relieve itch and chewing) I learned that 30% of dogs actually like bitter apple taste. I felt a DIY apple cider vinegar spray is better and for other surfaces DIY AC vinegar with some dried chilli pepper ( i used whole soaking in the spray bottle) works very well. Don't recommend this.
