Even though synthetic, once washed polar fleece is soft next to your face. It is long so you can double wrap, wrap your neck and run it over your head covering your ears. Loop it, knot it, lots of options due the length. It is getting the job done, but I wouldn't give it high rating for attention to detail. This was a piece of fleece simply cut, surged, folded and shipped. Like all things today don't expect high quality seams or craftsmanship. Polar fleece is not itchy, will retain warmth and block the cold and that is what I expected. Got the charcoal grey so it wouldn't show as much lint etc. that black does. Pleased with the product.

I purchased this scarf for my son who is doing school in Europe. It is warm enough for him and not too expensive in case he loses it or needs to lighten his luggage on the way home. It is very dark black. It is not very heavy, which is what he required, but he said it kept him warm enough.

I like scarves and this one is made of a very soft microfiber that doesn't irritate my skin. I have worn it about 10 times now and will probably order more to give as gifts.

This scarf was EXACTLY the gift I was looking for. I ordered it for my son, and he is very pleased with it. He said he wears it to shovel snow, and for errands on cold days.
