I know I'm not the only person who cannot figure out why it is so hard to peel eggs. I don't remember it being this hard 15 years ago so I don't even try peeling eggs now that I found these because my arthritis prevents me from doing so. So I highly recommend these I make egg salad with them I put them on salads they are amazing and they are worth the money because you are not wasting half the egg with the shell. And they're just like a boiled egg the yolk is cooked thoroughly
I bought 6 of these over the last couple weeks, and I found them to be just as good as any of the other brands. No, they don't have a zipper seal. So I rinsed them off, put them in my own zipper bag or a refrigerator dish, and labeled to use by 1 additional week. I had none of the issues others put in their reviews. No weird small, no shell, no funny whites or yolks, nothing. We eat a lot of hard eggs, so this brand with a much lower price was right up my alley.
Its all about the convenience. These eggs eliminate much if the prep time for chopping an egg into your salad, making deviled eggs, etc. No need to cook them, cool them then peel. Here, your eggs are ready to go. I do a quick rinse then place on a paper towel as Im beginning to prep. Egg salad comes together in about 2 minutes. You cant beat that. The quality is actually often better than homemade because they're never overcooked. Clean on the outside with no visible damage and bright yellow yolks inside.
I take a large coffee cup and boil water in the microwave in it. Then I add two eggs out of the plastic bag into the hot water that has been bolded and let it sit for 2 1/2 minutes. The results is as if I just peel the eggs in their fresh can be I don't care for the eggs cold out of sack. This makes them just like fresh. Fresh boiled eggs.
These eggs are great for a snack or making egg salad or whatever . Sometimes I want a boiled egg but by the time I get done boiling them I don't want them again and if you cook the eggs they have to get eaten quickly. This takes care of my issue. Sure it's cheaper to boil them yourself but sometimes they don't peel properly so this saves me time ans hassle.
I love hard-boiled eggs, but I can't fix them at home because my grandson is highly allergic to eggs. So I buy them instead. If you buy any when you take the first egg or so out, there's a little water in the bottom of the bag pour it out And close your bag good. They last good also.
Well I knew it would be easier and probably better tasting if I just boiled my own eggs but my power was out and I had to wait so I ordered them pre-boiled i bought the cheaper brand which I won't do again the yolks were green they did not smell 100% And they were about to expire so yeah I won't buy this brand again
I buy either this brand or Walmart's, and they are usually the same value and quality. The only real difference is that Walmart's bag has a zipper seal, but I have a box of sandwich bags for that purpose. They are always cooked and usually peeled to perfection. However, my last purchase was not as good as usual. There were a few tiny shells in them, and they seemed a bit slimy towards the end, so I just rinsed them a bit. Don't get me wrong, they're usually great, so I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.
The taste was terrible. They had a rotten order to them as well as taste. I've purchased these same eggs in the store, and NEVER had had this experience. I couldn't even eat either package. There was a slime in both packages. Very disappointed
HORRID!! What happened to these Great Day Farms Hard Boiled Eggs??? Horrid chemical taste! I have purchased these for years specially because they did not have the chemical taste that the other brands do (great value,etc.). What changed? Whatever they are now adding extends the expiration date ridiculously far and tastes HORRIBLE. Very disappointing and will no longer purchase these. I used to seek them out because they did not have the additional chemicals and terrible taste.
