Great Value 1% Low-Fat Milk, Gallon

Great Value 1% Low-Fat Milk is always in our fridge and for good reason. It's smooth, fresh, and not too heavy—perfect for cereal, coffee, or just a quick glass between kid chaos. Tastes just as good as the pricier brands, but way easier on the budget. Honestly a no-brainer staple in our house.

Kwik Trip convenience stores consistently provide milk at a slightly lower price ($2.99, seemingly without end). Is that enough of a difference to go to Kwik Trip? I am not sure, but is simply my marketplace assessment of milk. I assume the product are of similar quality and age. Thank you.

Always was a Oak Farms drinker because I believed it was higher quality and had to taste better than Great Value Walmart brand…. I was sooooo Wrong. It does indeed taste delicious and I found no difference between the two except the price difference which is much cheaper than rip off Oak Farms!! So there!!'

ALL ITEMS I PURCHASED WERE GOOD HOWEVER THE ONLY DOWN FALL IS GETTING DOUBLE CHARGED AND WAITING FOR THE OTHER CHARGE TO GET REFUNDED IN MY ACCOUNT......$100 ON HOLD THATS WAY TOO MUCH TO PUT ON HOLD REGARDLESS IF ITEM IS DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHER IM SURE ITS NOT THAT A BIG PRICE CHANGE THE HOLD AMOUNT SHOULD BE $50 NOT $100 WAY OVER CHARGED OR MONEY HELD THATS WHY I GIVE IT A 3 STAR ALSO IM STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND I GOT DOUBLE CHARGED A WEEK AGO AND HAVENT SEEN THE MONEY GO BACK TO MY ACCOUNT WHICH IS WHY A 3 STAR NEVER AGAIN DOIN A PICK UP ORDER UNTIL THIS MONEY HOLDING IS RESOLVED I SHOULDVE GOTTEN MY MONEY BACK AS SOON I I GOT CHARGED BUT NOPE LOOKED AT MY ACCOUNT AND STILL SHOWING BOTH CHARGES. I always check expiration dates on food products, especially milk. The expiration date on this milk was to expire within seven days which was sufficient enough time before it should go bad. WRONG! The first day the milk was fine. The second day it was completely sour and foul smelling. It took one day after opening it, for the milk to spoil, five days before the expiration date.

I always buy this Great Value milk, but my last gallon I purchased had a horrible taste and smell. It tasted and smelled like plastic. Will not be purchasing any Great Value milk or even dairy products until this is taken care of. Not sure what the problem is, but I’m not risking getting sick from drinking this. I have been having trouble finding gallon size milk at my Walmart, so maybe there is an issue at their facility that needs taken care of. Expiration date is APR 21, so it is well before the expiration date. Starting to see other similar reviews like this so I’d steer clear of this product for a while!

I just wanted to let everyone know that if you don't drink milk real fast this isn't the milk for you. This is the 2nd gallon I bought in a row that spoils 4 days SHY of the best by date so if if can't even last a week it is no good to me. I can't drink a whole gallon of milk in a day or 2 and it seems that it must be old already before it is even sold. Bad deal I know it isn't my fridge or storage as this doesn't happen with milk bought at soopers or safeway.

I had to stop buying this and the Great Value skim milk because about half of the gallons I bought were sour for months. Even not expired, half the time the milk had a spoiled taste and smell that made it undrinkable. I'm not paying for a 50% chance of usable milk.

The milk jug was all smashed up. The milk won't pour out of the jug without going everywhere. The expiration date is only two days from my order date. I thought shoppers would look at expiration dates and get one that's a long time out. Don't know if the shopper picked out the smashed jug or if it got smashed on the delivery route.

I chatted the order filler that I did not want any substitutions. I am taking this milk back to Walmart to return today - it was supposed to be skim milk. Defeats purpose of having groceries delivered. Please make the No Substitution Button more prominent when placing an order.
