Great Value 100% Arabica Donut Shop Coffee Pods, Medium Roast, 12 Count

Some store brands don't quite compare to the name brands BUT I was very happily surprised after trying Great Value's K-cup coffee. The price is much better/cheaper and the flavor was perfect for me.

I was a very loyal Timothy's Original Donut Blend coffee drinker. I was on auto-ship with Amazon but had run out, so I bought 1 box of the Great Value Donut Shop and was very surprised. It's better and has a more rich and a smoother taste than Timothy's plus the price is about half of what I was paying. I wished they would make it in a 24 count.

This is not bitter and has a great taste! It's a hidden gem highly recommend

I usually pick these up when I'm shopping. It isn't a bad alternative to the 'name' brands that are out there. Taste is good - doesn't not 'sludge'. This is one you should try and decide for yourself. At its price point you won't be risking much.

I decided to save a few dollars and buy the Great Value brand K cups, instead of my usual Eight O'Clock or Gevalia coffees. Initially, I was pretty impressed with the flavor, which has a fairly full body. However, after 8 or 10 cups, my Special Edition B60 began only brewing half-cups, dispensing water back into the reservoir. After blowing compressed air through the brewer, dismantling the machine (Which is ridiculously complicated), and finally repairing it, I will not be brewing these cups again. I can't say for sure it was the cups that caused it, or if something coincidentally happened to go wrong, but I don't want to take the chance of saving a few dollars but ruining the expensive machine. I would think these would work fine in one of the simpler models of keurig (such as the mini) that has a less complicated pump system and such. If you are using a higher end keurig, though, avoid these.

I just got a Keurig about a month ago and I like Coffee People Donut Shop and Cascade Pride Donut Shop (from Winco), so I was happy to find Walmart's version. However, this Donut Shop coffee has an unpleasant woody taste no matter what size cup I try to brew. I won't buy this brand/flavor again.

I purchased a box of these when I bought my Hamilton Beach k-cup brewer. The first one spewed coffee grounds all over my counter and floor. I thought it was the coffee pot, but decided to keep it since it came with a filter to use regular coffee. I received a free pack of Folgers k-cups and used them with no problems. Recently I decided to try another of the Great Value ones, and had a mess once again. I am going to dump the coffee out of the cup and use like regular coffee, since it does taste ok. These are NOT worth the trouble or the mess. I'll spend an extra few dollars and buy the better brand.
