The pull-off tab under the lid is sometimes easy to get off, sometimes a pain in the butt to take off, and sometimes just comes right off with the lid. That's our only issue. When it comes off with the lid it leaves questions of how fresh and safe the milk is.
I'd say "it's just milk" but different brands of milk do taste different. I usually buy Walmart's brand of milk but occasionally will buy another brand. I do like the taste of Walmart's milk and I don't know if this is good or bad, but it stays good (not spoiled ) for much longer than other brands. Not sure why but even a neighbor mentioned that.
I disliked the fact that it had an expiration date of 11-11, and it was sour on 11-6. This is not the first time I've had milk to spoil several days before the expiration date. And yes, my fridge was turned up to 10 because it's still warm in Georgia.
You asked for a review on milk. The two I had delivered on June 6- I dumped about quart because it had spoiled. The second on half the galloon same way. The date wasn't expired. It had plenty time left. This isn't the first time this has happened.
This brand milk has went bad days, even a week before it's Best Buy date on the last 5 deliveries. I don't mean just starts to sour, I mean completely chunky curdling days before the date. We keep refrigerated and never let it sit out. I picked one up in the store thinking maybe it was bc it was delivered and sat out before I received it but even the gallon I bought in the store went bad a week before it's date, just days after we purchased. I won't ever buy this milk again.
This comes from 3 separate customers. Your 2% milk that has more than a week expires days after purchasing. I bought milk from here June 13 with an expiration date of the 26th. It was curdled the 17th. This has been on going for months. Not just your Walmart. Enterprise and South Florida. Until I figure out a solution I have to start buying 1/2 gallons. So it will not spill in 3 days. I will be posting this since a 3rd person just asked me.. from Farm to market there is a break down. It needs to be fixed
The last couple times I bought it spoiled 4 or days before date. Gets a sour smell and tease and leaves a filmy looking ring around cup like it thick. my refrigerator is on 37 degrees and I have no problem with anything else in refrigerator spoiled just the milk.
Hi I bought this milk the last few weeks while it had a good expiration date, was sour and tasted so bad I had to throw it away 4 times. What’s more no one answers the phone to get refund . So I bought another brand and was told it was unavailable. I think Walmart should give me a refund and check this milk before it gets some one very sick I had to spit it out. I probably won’t get a refund because they won’t answer the phone or email. Very disappointed as usually I have no problems I’m crossing my fingers that this one will be okay and I don’t have to throw this one away. It both wastes my time and my money
I make sure i check the dates everytime. They always seem to start going bad at least 4-5 days before the expectation date. I wind up throwing it out. I will not be buying your brands again!! It even happens with your bread product line. Always seems i have to throw some of it out before the date on the package
The last two times that I bought a gallon of milk I opened it up a couple days later and it was spoiled. I was going to get a refund on it but there’s a lot of times something is always bad and I don’t say anything because I don’t want it to look like some sort of habit, but so I started buying a half of a gallon. I had 2 gallons when the first one was bad. I ordered another one and two days later when I opened it up, it had already started to sour. I had to pour both of them down the sink. Maybe you guys should check your refrigeration.
