We Love this Size tub It is like 2 of the large size normal Great price! I forgot to get a can of crushed Pinapple! To make a Refreshing Dessert Salad add a small tub of Whipped Topping and a package o Cherry Kool aid also small can on crushed pineapple (well drained)
Great Value large curd is our favorite cottage..whether for salads, casseroles or plain with fruit our choice for flavor and texture. Healthy treat or lunch or another other meal. The 24 ounce size carton does not last long especially in summertime with lighter cooler eating.
I never knew how much I would like large curd cottage cheese. To me it's better to have large chunks of cottage cheese than tiny ones. Feels more filling to me. This is great salads, or as a snack alone or with fruit. Try Everything Bagel seasoning on it, it's a game changer. Great Value brand makes it affordable and stretch your money a little further.
This cottage cheese is very creamy like more cream than curds. If you like creamy cottage cheese then you'll love this. The taste is ok but all the cream kinda ruins it for me.
Price is good, flavor is good but texture is subpar. Curds are not big enough to be called large. 1/2 of it is water and watery. Kroger's store brand, same price is superior. Mushy consistency everytime I get it. I avoid ordering it if I can get it elsewhere.
It's edible, just.... The taste is tolerable but not like good cottage cheese should taste and the consistency is definitely not like regular cottage cheese, more like mushed cottage cheese. Other inexpensive brands at other stores are much better.
You can tell this has been frozen before the texture was awful was not creamy more on the dry side and crumbly. it looked as though it was run through a grinder it is not large curd or small curd. Closest thing I can think of to what it reminded me of is ground up horseradish
This has become disgusting. Last container was giant curds in watery milk, this batch was small curds in foamy paste - it was like spackle and tasted disgusting, the texture was gag inducing. Incredibly inconsistent. It's like they take all the reject batches from the big names and package it up. Forget about it.
There is zero consistency to buying this product. Sometimes its consistency is like soup, extremely runny the next it’s like thick paste. The taste is all over the place. Sometimes the curds are large other times it’s like mush.
I didn’t realize until after we started using this that it has maltodextrin added into it. There is absolutely no need for that in cottage cheese. I will not buy this again.
