Great Value A19 LED 10W Soft White Motion Sensor E26 Medium Base Light Bulb

Only thing I don't like is it lights during the day as well as night when someone approaches and I wanted it to only light at night. OK otherwise.

Having never heard of a lightbulb being motion sensor activated by itself, I was a bit skeptical. I switched out my 9.5W bulb in the lamp next to my reading couch with this bulb, which being 10W is about the same power. Just the slightest movement of my body turned the light on--so it definitely passed the motion sensor test. Something I liked even more though was the sheer brightness and clarity of the light. It seems at least twice as bright as the other bulb I was using and the light given off is like clear sunlight. I would honestly buy this bulb just for the clarity and quality and strength of the light given off. The light seems to turn off after about a minute of no movement--so no worries about it staying on when not needed. If you are using it for a lamp that you want on while you are reading or watching TV its probably not the light for you as you will need to wave your hand each time it turns off to turn it back on. But you wouldn't install a sensor bulb in a location like this anyway. Overall very impressed with the bulb. No more need for ugly black square sensors underneath motion activated lights--you can just install a normal light receptacle outside or in bathrooms or wherever you need a light that turns on with motion. I'm really looking forward to having one in the bathroom so light will turn on at night or early morning when I walk in without me fumbling around to find the light switch.

No need for expensive name brand bulbs at home improvement stores. I can order these from Walmart.com and have them delivered or pick up same day. These are just as good of quality as any other brand bulb I've used, but at half the price. The brightness is exactly as advertised and they last as long as they're supposed to. Couldn't recommend more.

We install this bulb in high traffic area so that when there's nobody around the light turn off by itself. Note that these bulbs are Daylight so it's more white and color accurate. If you want warm tone, you'll need to get the Warm White version. So far it works well and should last for years.

When power is applied and there is motion in the room, the light Bulb lights up and remains lighted as long as motion continues to exist. Leave the room and in several minutes the light goes off. When the LED Light Bulb is installed in a lamp with a heavy shade the motion sensing is marginal. Several times it was necessary to reach under the shade and wiggle my fingers to cause the LED Light Bulb to turn on. Somewhat marginal. The Daylight Illumination emitted by the LED Light Bulb is on the blue side. A warmer tone would for me been more pleasing. Overall the Great Value LED Light Bulb, 10 W (60W equivalent) A19 Motion Sensor Lamp E26 Base Non-dimmable, Daylight 1 Pack does the job.

I really like and appreciate this line of light bulbs. They are very sturdy; they are long lasting. I use them indoors as well as outdoors, because they emit a good, sufficient amount of light. The light emitted is not overly bright either, especially behind a lamp shade or inside a fixture. These bulbs are very reliable.

This is great for me , I use this in my bedroom and is invaluable when I have to get out of bed in the middle of the night. Or even when I wake up looking for my phone, I just wave my arms and voila.. I have light. It only costs $1.20 a year to run. It uses just 10 watts and gives out 800 lumens of light. This would also be useful in a child’s room, especially if they are afraid of the dark.

This is a great bulb for closets or bathrooms that you don't use as often and are more likely to be left on when someone passes through. I put this one in the hall light and it is awesome. I don't have to worry about turning off the light and I always have light when needed in a dark hallway.

This bulb sounds like a good idea, but it's not. The bulb senses movement through the wall! You don't even have to walk into the room, just walking by an adjacent wall which is in the hallway will turn it on. The box flap warns that the bulb can cause radio and TV interference. I don't need this from an $8 bulb.
