Great Value Alkaline D Batteries, 4 Count (Plastic Free Packaging)

Don't know how long they will last, but they register as "fully charged" on my battery tester. Being only HALF the price of the nearest alkaline battery option, I can see why Walmart managers "appear" to refuse to carry these batteries in the stores ... no one would buy any of the other brands at TWICE the price. Even crappy batteries would still be a bargain if they only lasted 1/2 as long. I have purchased the AA and AAA size batteries, and they have proven to last at least as long as the other MUCH more expensive brands. Granted, I did not run independent, double blind tests on how long they lasted ... ;*) ... but, for 1/2 the price ... they more than met expectations. You can ONLY ORDER them (not stocked in stores), so find other "order only" items (like pet food :-), to get up to the $35 minimum order size for FREE delivery, and place your order. Then, within about 24 hours, alkaline batteries will be at your door! I'll never shop for batteries in stores again.

I first wanted these batteries because they come in a small pack at a very good price. After using them, I will keep getting them for those reasons and because they are lasting very long in our flashlights. I am really happy that we tried them, they are another good product from Walmart's Great Value!

Were in a pinch for D sized batteries for a small appliance that doesn't charge through USB, and were leaving for a camping trip in a day. Quick delivery. Work fine. Just what we needed.

These batteries are so good and just what I needed!! They run good and seem to run just as long as other batteries!! The price is much more affordable too!!

Lasts 7 days with almost continuous use of baby swing. Lasted the same exact time with Duracell brand but those are double the price. Just bought some more. Definitely worth the price. Although when I have the time and money I’ll probably invest in rechargeable ones.

Price is great! Value is great! However, the power level on the batteries only last a dew days. It really depends on use of them...I use mine for a portable fan and I cant turn it up higher because I need to make sure the batteries last so I only use a lower setting.

I know some batteries are good while others are not, so when I bought 4 packages of great value size D, I was hoping that they would work on a fan but each package barely made it 10 minutes working in there before dyeing. I'm not happy as I'm on a fixed income and can not throw money away

Not dependable enough to risk any more purchases. I've used a lot of Great Value products and most get a 4-5 star rating. Unfortunately, I have been burned to many times on these batteries that are often lower in voltage than rated resulting in short length of life. I always check batteries with volt meter upon receipt, to validate, especially when used for critical use....i.e. smoke alarms etc. I have received 9v Great Value that were literally DOA out of the box. I hate to be critical but I'd rather spend more and get dependable merchandise than less and get poor quality.

Delivery driver ignored delivery instructions, also took a picture of the front of the building with the business hours and then still proceeded to leave items outside. Items sat outside all weekend unattended. We can NOT have deliveries made outside of business hours.

Lasted full power 1 day on automatic trash can. Barely has any power at all after that. Replaced with 2 more from package, same thing. Barely any power at all. Do not recommend
