People don't realize how much difference the flavor is when leaving in the bone including skin. All this adds so much flavor but easily removed once cooked. Plus you can create your own bone broth and stock for soups, feeding our pets (IF nothing else is added, such as herbs, salt, nothing but the bones and water..except for if you decide adding the meat as well . Very healthy
This was excellent for the price! These are the biggest chicken thighs I've ever had in my life. Yikes, which probably means a lot of growth hormones. I'll have to read the package again when I buy them. I don't know why most people remove the skin from chickens now, it's the best part! Lol! I can rarely find chicken breasts with skin and I prefer them to thighs. However this is a good deal for the money and if you have a house full of kids these will satisfy their appetite.
in lean days and soaring prices this is a great deal! tasty, tender, and one bag made 28 sandwiches. I used a insta pot from Walmart to cook 2 hours, the bones were soft for dogs and I shredded the chicken added mayo and lemon pepper and ate for a week a family of 4!! thank you walmart for deliciously affordable meals
I do these instead of chicken wings now. Try poching them in a little water. I do 3 or 4 at a time. Add a tablespoon or two butter. 2 table spoon extra virgin olive oil. Garlic powder and onion powder. plus a dusting of black pepper. cook on medium about a hour. So it's fully cooked but tender. Then pop in a air fryer. 20 to 25 mins. To crispy the outside a little. Then add your favorite buffalo sauce. mmm
Good price for the product. Individually frozen so I was able to take 2 out of the bag to thaw and keep the rest frozen. Created a chicken stew with other purchased ingredients. Braised the chicken and shredded it after it was cooked. Dinner turned out great.
I use thighs in the instapot as a base for many meals. My family can never tell the difference. I like these because I don’t have to worry about taking up fridge space, or using them right away. Because they are frozen individually, I don’t have to waste time on thawing and planning dinner by 3pm, either!
This here app asked me to give this here chicken one to five stars for MEAT. Now hold on. What does that even mean? I rated the taste and stuff, but how do I rate it as meat? It ain't meat, it's chicken! So I didn't know what to do so I gave it four stars for MEAT! what else could I do? I mean, it ain't lamb. It ain't steak. It ain't a roast — it's chicken for Heaven's sake! So anyway, if you're wonderin why the four stars for meat, now you know. But I guess you can just ignore that. I was confused.
well I used to buy these all the time they were huge thighs even tho there were only like 7 in a bag. then you couldn't get them for a while they were always out of stock . well I saw them again and ordered .. I don't know who cut this chicken up but its all caterwompy and only 1 peice even resembled a thigh . just well I'm m bbq it anyway. but dang.
If I could give this a zero I would , this chicken was soooo frozen burnt I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog ! Truly is this even chicken so fed up buying great value products they aren’t a good value if you have to throw the products away ! Seniors order online for pick up for a reason !!! We are immune compromised ! I don’t want to have to go all the way back to store !!! And stand in a line with the chance of my husband getting sick ! As he has cancer ! This store ! Needs to check there products !!!! Stop putting out rancid and sub par food this is not our first experience in regards to this at this Walmart I am so fed up I am a regular customer and I must say the customer service and products are so lacking it’s like a rude insane asylum please re train your employees in customer service and stocking and removing sub par and or rancid products which we have also experienced
I concentrated my pictures on one piece, because it showed both 1) pin feathers 2) gobs of fat 3) excess skin and overall, when compared to the amount of edible meat, it is by far, an unacceptable percentage. What I was UNABLE to show, was the chicken thigh so small that it must have come off of a parakeet rather than a chicken 🤦🏻♀️, another thigh that had so much skin on it you’d have thought it must have been through a very severe gastric bypass (without the follow-up surgery for skin tightening)…all these things looked so sad in one way or another. You will NOT be saving ANY MONEY by buying this. In fact, you might actually be LOSING MONEY if you buy this rather than the more expensive brand. I know I’m going with the higher priced option in the future.
