Food Coloring!
The food coloring works great. My kids and I love to bake so we use food coloring a lot. The food coloring is very inexpensive and the colors come out very vibrant.

Pastel, not Primary
These food colors are inexpensive, but only up to a point. They lack pigment, so it takes half a bottle to color one batch of icing to an actual primary color and not a pastel. In reality, you don't save much money, if any. So if you are a serious baker or simply want color that pops, you'll want to pick food coloring with more pigment.

Very cheap product
You honestly get what you pay for, but this was much less than what I was expecting. They're like little eye droppers with only a little bit of dye in them, which honestly for someone who's doing holiday baking like myself - won't even be enough. I'm highly disappointed and for as much as it's worth, it's not even worth the trouble of returning. Just be wary when deciding to purchase this item. It's really not worth it.
