Great Value Beef Bouillon Powder 3.75 oz Jar, (Shelf Stable)

I have beef bullion cubes but there are times when I need a quicker dissolve or just a bit more flavor than a full cube would give. Also with the granuals I don't have to spend the time crushing a cube and trying to figure out how to save the rest I don't use.

Kitchen staples !! That's all I can say!! You never know when you may need this for a dish so I like to keep some On hand !! I am pleased with the flavor and quality of the product ! I am Always satisfied! The price is wonderful , you can't beat it !! I will keep these in my pantry !! You can make some many things with it !! Amazing buy !! Makes the best chicken stock ever ! I have plenty of these !!

I chose this when the Great value beef broth was out of stock and I'm glad I did because wow it makes tons of broth. I only had to use a half teaspoon to get the amount of broth I needed for a recipe and now I'll have beef broth for a while. The flavor didn't seem any different as far as when it's combined into a recipe. I don't know individual flavor because I never drank straight beef broth before.

This makes gravy and stew taste so good. I am able to add it to a rice dish or to mashed potatoes to make the flavor of beef come through even if I have no beef or drippings added. It opens up a world of possibilities for flavors without needing to dent your wallet on beef prices.

I'm buying this in place of the jarred paste and the boxed broths now. It saves me some money, and it tastes just as good. It makes a delicious soup base, and it's easy to use. Just add a spoonful to a cup of water. It dissolves easily. I'm looking forward to finding ways to use it in dishes besides soups.

For me, being used to the higher flavor profile of Maggi or Knorr bouillon, it didn"t add the taste I needed for my chicken vegetable soup. I had to add 6 Wylers cubes. Maybe if you're making a gravy or something that doesn't require a flavorful broth, it would be OK. Definitely value for only $1.00 though.

Overall I recommend this bouillon . I bought it because I needed a clear liquid diet for a surgical prep . I couldn't use my favorite Better than Bouillon because it had small pieces of meat in it , so this one was the only available option . It is completely clear and it's a dry powder but extremely salty. I recommend this for a clear liquid diet short term where you cannot use another version like Better then Bouillon. But for regular cooking I think there are better options

Absolutely disgusting garbage. Tastes like salty chemicals with zero chicken flavor. Great Value usually comes through, but this is a complete disaster. Don't even bother wasting your money—just spend the extra dollar and get the real thing. On top of that, the best-by date was shockingly close—only three months, not the usual two years. Seriously, avoid this product at all costs.

The FIRST thing I smelled when I opened the jar was yeast. It was overwhelming. Sure enough, it was at the top of the ingredient list. So odd. I broke down and bought the Knorr brand. 1000 times better and so worth the extra money! Maybe this would be better in a soup, or a stew, but drinking it straight is NOT good!
