These are super convenient for any meals that include patties. and even if you don't have regular bulk hamburger in hand you can break these up for other meals such as hamburger helper in a pinch. These are tender and have great taste. I always keep them on hand.
well I got lucky one day and caught this on sale when ground beef prices hit $6 a pound I found these on sale and they cost about $3 a pound so I figured I'd buy a plethora of them and just make hamburgers all the time or if I want ground beef I just sit there and chunk it up a little bit it's all good I'm glad I caught on a good rollback day
Cooking these burger patties in an air fryer at 230 degrees for 30 minutes and they come out perfectly cooked and the perfect temperature for fully cooked hamburger. I spray each side with canola or olive oil and that allows the seasoning to stick to the burger and there's no need for flipping. They are juicy and make for the perfect burger.
The only way I purchase ground beef now. It's budget friendly in so many ways: cost, avoiding waste, controlled portions. I never have to worry about using it before it goes bad, I don't have to remember to thaw it as part of a meal plan, I can control the amount I need per recipe. It's a win-win across the board. No different to me than any other 80/20 beef purchase in both taste and texture. 5-Stars across the board.
Are they fancy? No. Do they taste like backyard BBQ glory on a budget? Absolutely. These burgers go from freezer to flavor in minutes—no drama, no mystery meat, just beefy goodness that makes your grill proud and your wallet weep tears of joy. Great Value? More like Great Victory.
I have been teaching my son how to cook and burgers are one of his favorite meals. These are so easy because they can be cooked from frozen. Preheat a skillet to medium heat (5 or 6) and place the frozen patties directly in the skillet. Season both sides (yes while they’re frozen, we use a burger blend, salt, and pepper) cook first side 8/9 minutes then flip and cook the other side 5/6 minutes. Can be cooked longer if you like. Flatten with the spatula occasionally. Remove and set on some bread slices or paper towels to remove any excess oil.
Easily made the burger in 10 minutes in my air fryer, turning once. Used Aunt Hatties buns, kinda big and gv buns would be perfect. Great taste and less fat than their specialty burgers i.e. bacon cheese burger and Vidalia onion. This will be my new go to burger!
I like to keep these frozen burgers on hand for fixing up a quick meal, or that weekend cookout on the grill. By being pre-shaped into patties and 80% beef , there is little shrinkage during cooking. You can cook just one or many and then reseal the bag till next time. With the meat already made into patties you have more time to prepare the rest of your meal.
Not sure if I got a bad bag, but I don’t think I will purchase these again. They were coated in ice, very frozen together and misshapen. Even a little discolored around the edges like they had been thawed and refrozen. I did get these in a pickup order and I probably would have chosen another package if I had shopped them.
I have been waiting for a $9.60 refund applied to my Walmart Cash account because the hamburgers were rotten and it was never received. I keep being told a refund was initiated but I can't find it either at my Walmart cash account where it was to be posted or the credit card used. I've been buying these frozen hamburgers for a long time and I have been a Walmart customer for a long time. Walmart wants to be paid its membership fee when due but I can't have a stinking refund of $9.60? I am considering cancelling my membership and be done with Walmart. You don't deserve the ONE star but I didn't see a lower rating!
