I love these honey buns! After I graduated I lived in Waco while I was going to school. There was a cafe next door and I would go there some mornings for coffee. They had the most wonderful honey buns and they would put a little butter on the top and stick it under the broiler to heat up. I found these honey buns and I thought I would try doing it myself. Works pretty good!! Try it sometime. Just be sure to watch it because the combo of frosting and butter can burn quickly.
I normally am not a honey bun fan because they always seem to leave a greasy film in my mouth. For some reason I decided to try these. Now I'm hooked! This brand, both large and regular, are GREAT! No filmy feeling in mybl my mouth, just great taste! SO GLAD I tried them!
Have you ever craved that sugary sweet honey bun? But you wanted to get the superior larger variety? If you answer yes to both of these, then this purchase is for you. But wait, there's more! You can buy 3 of those boxes in one bundle! Do not try to resist the sweet addiction that is honey buns. They will always win. Honey Buns are always patient. Their will unbreakable.
I love them. They're very hard to keep in stock anywhere so to score a big box was great. They taste great. A little dry but if you're drinking something anyway it doesn't matter. It might help if you refrigerate them. They're not too sweet and delicate leave a bad aftertaste. They smell sweet. Overall I give 4½ stars.
These honey buns are a family favorite. Just as great as popular brands. They come in handy whenever we're craving a sweet baked treat. They are perfectly glazed and not overly sweet; great flavor. Warming them a bit takes them to a whole other level, they just melt in your mouth. I sometimes even have it with warm milk, just a dip here and there. Overall, great value for money. The only downside would be that the size is not always consistent.
For years a cup of coffee and a glazed honey bunn is the way I start my morning. I love these, not too big and not too small, just right, and taste delicious.
I used to buy these all the time if you can get them fresh they are good but the last two times I got them they wasn't fresh so unless I am in walmart and can look at them myself to check for freshness I won't be ordering them curbside pickup anymore.
They are soft and have good flavor, if you like honey buns, but the glaze was sickening sweet to me. I still buy these for my husband, but I do not enjoy them at all.
My wife loves GV glazed honey buns. The problem is Walmart is out of stock more often than not. I have tried in store and delivery. Please Walmart save me and revaluate you stocking method and keep this item in stock.
You supply two different types of the great big honey buns one is excellent. One is horrible. The only way to really tell immediately the good from the bed is the box that the good ones come in is a single ply of cardboard. The bad ones are in a corrugated type box. They have the same numbers. The corrugated box is a little bit taller, but when you look down at the edge of the box that they come in, you can see that it's a corrugated box. When they have the good ones at the Rogers store I have my daughter by five or six boxes at a time because my store which is a little Walmart neighborhood store in Farmington, usually doesn't have the good ones anymore. When I got these two boxes that I am reviewing right now I gave them away. Wouldn't even open the package. They are a total waste of money.
