Great Value Block Sharp Cheddar Cheese, 16 oz

This is my favorite cheese. I put it on everything. "Everything?!." you ask. Yes. Everything. Burgers, sandwiches, steak, salmon, ice cream, pets, countertops, floors, ceilings, walls, doors, mirrors, grass, trees, automobiles, office buildings, airplanes, planets and salads, just to name a few.

Great cheddar cheese. Definitely no need to waste money on name brand cheese, this is just as good. We buy a block weekly. We mostly shred it for tacos, quesadillas, chili, salads and such, but also great alone or with crackers.

My favorite item to use for any cheese meal. I order it often. It melts without any problem and does not have a lot of added unwanted ingredients. It has a light sharp taste which we really enjoy. It is even really good cut into small pieces and add them to your salads.

Excellent taste, nice and sharp. And whenever I can get a product I use a lot that is a Great Value item, that's an added bonus. Almost without exception, the quality and taste of Great Value food products is just as good as the mainstream brands. I will get Great Value every time.

its sharp but not extra shap, just right for rhat " aged" bite! smooth and in this small block size it dosent spoil. still the same price per lb/ oz. did you know white chedder and orange chedder are the same xheese? orange cheese is dyed. its normally white :)

This is about the sixth time I’ve gotten two of these sharp cheddar cheese 1 pound packages and they are by far the best tasting you can compare it to the most expensive but this one always comes out number one for me try it you won’t be disappointed

Sharp cheddar cheese grade 4 slice in it putting it on a cracker watching TV little snack wonderful for macaroni and cheese, baked macaroni and cheese or the macaroni and cheese that I don't know what they call it bubbly when it's like a nice warm sauce I gotta get the recipe. I've been watching my partner making some Dominican cheese and never saw my dog eat mac %26 cheese until that day she looked at me. I asked if she wanted some. She wagged her tail and we ate a whole pan a macaroni and cheese me and the dog I got fused with lady, but it was still good. Try it you'll like it. It's worth it.

could just be me but SHARP is not really there. I love the cheese, the flavor, the price, but the flavor for "sharp" is not quite there. I use it as cheddar, not sharp, but I would still recommend it. I just need that "sharp" factor, especially in burritos, or on my salads.

So disappointed with this sharp cheddar cheese. I thought I was getting value by buying this block cheese but as soon as I opened it I could see there was going to be a problem, the cheese looked "wet". Too much moisture on the cheese was not a good sign %26 sure enough it started molding in several spots. I couldn't eat it or even cut the mold off as it was on every side. This was the second time buying the Great Value block cheese %26 both times it was "wet" when I opened the packages. This is something Quality Control should look into.

This is the most disgusting excuse for cheese I think I’ve ever had. A previous reviewer likened it to being similar to velveeta and plasticy. This is accurate. Cheddar is not a super soft cheese. It’s even less so the sharper it gets. This cheese was so soft I could mash the entire block up into a ball I if I wanted to. The texture is absolutely disgusting. Like during a cookout when someone has cheese and crackers and they left the cheese sitting out in the sun for hours. That’s what this cheese tastes/feels/looks like. I will not be buying this again.
