I wasn't prepared for Great Value waffles to completely change my life like this. These waffles are somehow crispy, fluffy, buttery, and emotionally supportive all at the same time. I put them in the toaster expecting “generic frozen breakfast disappointment” and instead received a spiritual awakening with syrup. Honestly, I think these waffles are better than some restaurant waffles. I ate one plain while standing in my kitchen like a raccoon at 11:30 PM and whispered “wow” to nobody. The texture? Immaculate. The flavor? Elite. The price? Practically suspicious. If these waffles have zero fans, assume I have perished. Walmart didn't just make waffles here — they created a carbohydrate masterpiece that deserves its own aisle and maybe federal protection. 10/10. Would absolutely buy again and pretend I made them from scratch when guests come over.

These Great Value waffles are good! They're easy to make. I love using some frozen Great Value blueberries, that I thaw out and put over the top of them, warm them up in the microwave, after I've toasted them in the toaster, put a little butter and Great Value syrup on them and dive in.

Great Toaster Waffles!

Anonymous June 11, 2026

Now, these are definitely a more satisfying product in the toaster breakfast selections. These waffles have fluffiness: they are NOT something you have to chew on. We just heat them up in the toaster, and soon we are rewarded with decent, quick waffles, no waffle iron or batter mixing required. WAY BETTER than the pancakes! Meets the waffle "need".

Better waffle

lismaw March 16, 2026

This waffle is so much better than the national brand. The texture is great especially. Also I think they are exceptionally tasty. I eat these just about every morning for breakfast. On the rare occasions when Walmart is out of these buttermilk waffles and I have to eat the name brand, I am always disappointed. Not only are these better, but they are a super value too.

THEY TASTE THE SAME

Gloria May 25, 2026

When I got these they were a substitute for the original waffles I always buy. I really didn't taste and difference between the Original and this Buttermilk option. If you have special dietary restrictions of items as stated in the description these would be your selection. Either way you wil enjoy either one.

New - smaller waffles.

Paul May 5, 2026

These are OK frozen waffle, but they are smaller that I've been eathi g for years . The outer perimeter is barely a crust, which threw off my toaster settings. I would have gotten the Homestyle version but it's been MIA and I fear it also is being shink-flated.

The constant addition of different ingredients that are declared as preservative, but most aren't is scary to me. Lately it has been in every store including the supposed Organic refuge named Whole Foods. Everyone should observe the ingredients panel and take pictures and share it with the people. These are unnecessary toxins these food makers are being paid by someone to spend extra to put in their food. My guess would be companies that sell chemicals that mask symptoms of illness and never release the cures. ML to pop

Weight Loss Gem

Ray October 14, 2025

I lost 40 lbs over the past year and these frozen waffles are a part of my routine. Two waffles are 130 calories with sugarless syrup and a cup of coffee with Great Value sugarless creamer brings the total to 170 calories. My cardboard waffle feast keeps me satisfied for 3 or 4 hours. Hey, it works.

Good value but not great

Al February 5, 2026

It’s a good toaster waffle for the price but it gets soggy very quickly and if it hasn’t been stocked quickly from the freezer at the store, it can have a slightly gamey smell after toasting. Most of the time that isn’t the case but you can get a stinky batch and it should be returned as that isn’t usual for this brand.

New Recipie - TERRIBLE

Nathalia March 3, 2026

I bought these recently and they did not look or taste right. I dug on old box out of my recycling and it confirmed my suspicions. Flour is no longer first on the ingredients list, water is. Oil is now the 3rd ingredient on the list. The result are waffles that look like a hocky puck, taste chewy and stick to your teeth, and are dry and burned, especially on the spots where the waffles touch in the microwave. I can only imagine what they do in the toaster. The name brand waffles also taste and look like this, so it was only a matter of time.
