My store ran out of this for about a month, and I didn't know what I'd do with myself. lol It's such a waste to buy eggs and toss the yolks. I eat egg whites with brown jasmine rice and arugula every morning, as an omelet. Add some sriracha on top with a side of spring mix, kimchi, and bread %26 butter pickles, and it's a happy morning.
This is very convenient to have, when I am dieting or just watching my cholesterol intake. I don't like being wasteful when I crack eggs and throw away the yolk and if im in a rush and not having to do this is great. it does have a 7 day life after opening. so i will make egg white rounds and freeze them and cook them when im ready as i dont like to eat eggs every day and i dont want to waste.
This is a healthy, quick and tasty meal. Egg whites are a big part of my healthy diet. And these seem to have more flavor than other brands I've tried. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to whip up a protein rich meal before jogging or walking or working out💪. It's definitely one of my go to breakfast ideas.
I bought this one time because Walmart didn't have the non-cage free egg whites available they were out of stock. And once I used it one time I was hooked. Not because I'm so into that it's cage free, but it has a closer thickness/viscosity to regular egg whites it's not as thin and runny.. So because of that, I feel like it works better if you're adding it to regular eggs for scrambled eggs or you're adding it to a recipe, it acts more like regular eggs than the non-cage free ones
I Use These Liquid Great Value Brand Egg Whites To: Bake Either: Betty Crocker Brand or Phillsbury Brand White Cupcakes or Cake. ~ I Scramble Them %26 Put Them On Top Of Canyon Bakehouse Brand Gluten Free 7-Grain Toast, and Bacon: Either Hickory Smoke Flavored Bacon, Applewood Smoke Flavored Bacon or Cherrywood Smoke Flavored Bacon %26 Ham: Either Marketside Brand Honey Ham or Prima Della Ham Off The Bone or Prima Della Brand Black Forest Ham %26 Sausage: Either Chopped Banquet Brand Sausage Links or Chopped Johnsonville Brand Sweet Italian Sausage Links. (In Other Words I Also Use Them In My Own Homemade Breakfast Scramble). Yummy, Yum, Tasty, Delicious!!!! (=
I'm on a low cholesterol, low fat diet. These egg whites are a good value and a good way to increase the volume of a single egg (I can only eat one, and I wanted 3), so I scramble some of this with a single egg ant it's still a little yellow, 3 eggs in size, and only one yolk. no discernable taste difference. Sometimes I have just whites, which is meh, but passible.
Dr recommended only egg whites so I got this and I cook in my little egg pan to make breakfast sandwich ff cheese and ff mayo it's good I really like it and low cholesterol since going post meno it's harder to deal with cholesterol so really good to limit intake great with some avocado too if you can't do mayo
How do you rate "taste" on egg whites? 😆 But they are good quality, last a long time in the fridge and work well for a lower-cholesterol "filler" in egg dishes, or *without* any whole eggs for egg white omelets (with sautéed spinach, onion, garlic and fresh tomatoes from the garden with mozzarella) for example. Far lower cost than other brand names, so a better deal for my budget as prices for groceries have increased rapidly lately.
When wanting egg whites, this makes it much easier than separating whites from an entire egg. This provides many options for baking and cooking, even making microwave mug omelets! I haven't tried using it to make meringue yet, but it is great for all the things I have used it for thus far!
I was given expired eggs. Did not check the expiration dates when the Order was placed in my car. Got home and one was expired and the other allowed me 3 days to consume.. do better rotating your stock
