I've recently reawakened to the world of eggs and these are always perfect. I've even recently started frying eggs rather than scrambled eggs, the only way I would eat them. So the yolks are always clear and bright orange. Now I just need to learn how to crack an egg one handed - no shells. lol
Eggs are eggs are eggs. Price is what makes the difference. Your eggs are a good price and a good value. They taste great and last in the fridge for quite a while. I always buy my eggs at Walmart. I only shop around if the price is too high. Thank you for lowering the price.
When I first started buying perishables online, eggs were a test case. Would they be delivered fresh and intact? After several purchases and not even a tiny crack yet, I'd say yea, with care it is quite possible! The eggs have always been fresh, well within their expiration date, and solidly intact. Yolks are well colored and cook up well, not a runny one yet. Highly recommend. And I get the XL size.
Not much to say. They're good and reasonably priced these days. Shells aren't too hard or too crumbly, though I don't know how much control the ranchers have over that. I love them and the cats love them, but I don't share all that often. Mostly I pan-fry them one at a time for sandwiches on mega-grain or Hawaiian bread. Add a slice of sharp cheddar and a cup of fresh hot coffee, and that's breakfast worth getting out of bed for. I also do a "grits bowl" with these (it's the breakfast version of my "mashed tater bowl"). Quarter cup grits, salt, pepper, water, nuke for 4 min. Add butter, cooked egg, sausage and cheese. Eat with a spoon.
the eggs are really delicious and cook up rather nicely. I also use some of the raw ones to my Service Staffy Cerberus, all 68 pounds of him; Adores fowl of all kinds. his favorite: Duck Hearts %26 tracheas. He's a grain allergy so care MUST B taken when feeding him. These eggs are some of the best. occasionally, a double yoker is acquired. THE BEST, MOST AFFORDABLE COMPARABLE TO JUMBO EGGS.!.
We mostly boil our eggs, or put them in water to see which will float because they are old and stand up if kinna old. These all tested well and we like this product, but other Walmart eggs, not so much. There were three in one dozen that popped up!
My review also includes the usual bigger jumbo size but this time added extra large eggs. For the super affordable price, Great Value eggs are a high nutritional food product for all purposes where eggs are an important ingredient. However, the whites seem watery runny until fully cooked as whites firm up. Also, but a chronic problem with all supermarket carton eggs, not much flavor unless sprinkling or incorporating some basic seasonings.
I have always thrown all eggs in the same category when someone asks how they taste. All eggs taste the same to me unless someone wants to try and fry one up that is rotten. The main difference is the size. I have always ordered Jumbo White Eggs simply because I can see the size of the egg and I know it is very big. Recently I have tried ordering AA Extra Large which is supposed to be one step down from the Jumbo but what I have noticed is AA Large eggs in AA Extra Large cartons. I have made my last purchase of AA Extra Large Eggs.
I had the time pickup at 5:00 pm, I arrived there on time, and did use Walmart app to inform you guys as procedure. I waited there till there was no car next to my car, then about 10-15 min later, some cars came and gone and on and on but I had to stay there, no delivery. One of your staff knew how long I waited there and did not serve but for all the cars after me she then asked to wait some more time , she will help me. Then eventually she did come. This is the second time I have such a situation. I am thinking myself how do I react properly to this treatment?!!!!!!!
I'd love to recommend this but I haven't gotten a single carton at pickup or delivery without broken eggs, unfortunately I showed up too late to closing because I didn't even make it out of the parking lot this time before I stopped %26 checked the eggs. The person who brought me my order very careful handed them to me to keep in the front seat so I had hope but nope two broken eggs right at the edge easy to spot. There may be more I didn't even look. The picture on the right is from my order today, the picture on the left is from my last order that had eggs in it.
