I used to eat 3 regular eggs and then we got the extra-large; let's just I couldn't eat all 3 extra large regular.! So, yes, I am a happy camper with all that yolk because we baste our eggs (use the Crisco-type lard on eggs) and they are some good eating. We do try to get as much of the Crisco we can off them before eating them! The eggs are really good tasting!
Extra large eggs, priced well and always fresh. Walmart Great value products are always good and fresh and sold at reasonable prices. The inexpensive price put eggs back into my diet and are great for boiling to make egg salads for lunch and a quick snack.
I bought these along with the pasture raised for comparison and help decide whether or not I would pay more for pasture raised. They were great eggs with firm and robust yolks. The whites were not runny and I had no problems cracking them open with the contents in tact. Next time I do an egg comparison I will pay more attention to the flavors of the different eggs. I would not hesitate to buy either of the egg brands/types again. In more than a year of delivery service, I have had some of the eggs get cracked ONLY ONCE. Walmart refunded the price and I had at least half the dozen left so NO COMPLAINTS.
Fresh EXTRA large eggs, always a winner for what I use eggs for. The extra whites and larger yokes are well worth the extra few cents per egg over large eggs. Price of these eggs is always reasonable. These eggs are aways fresh.
I'm so happy the price of eggs has come down. They could come down more. However, I did make my quiche. It was delicious. I haven't had any in a long time and it was well worth the money spent on a dozen eggs.
Excellent eggs - I thought at first they were the Jumbo eggs I normally buy. 3 eggs provides a great 3 oz. of your daily protein need - scrambled they were light and airy. Great quick meal. Breakfast or dinner.
I am handicap and can only use curbside pickup, 3 of these eggs were broken it's too bad the personal shoppers do NOT shop for customers like they would shop for themselves. I feel there should be a better training program for them. The last 24oz package of bacon was 90% fat and I just threw it away.
I am a farmer retired. I know fresh eggs when I get them. These eggs were not ALL fresh. Two of them were very old and run all over the pan. I expect to get fresh eggs in my purchase. Old eggs are not good for you and can make you ill. I think maybe the eggs get all mixed up with the "cage free" status. They don't all get gathered everyday. Only a guess.
I purchased meat, ground beef and beef stew was ordered and received what appeared to be old meat. Usually the meat is red, this time it was brown! This is the first time this has happened and hopefully the last. The personal shoppers better be taught how to shop like they were shopping for themselves.
this 12 ct egg is very expensive, yet it arrived damaged! ofcourse walmart doesn't have chat customer service for this, you have to call and eait for they're customer service and that's very annoying not worth it for the time! will not order here again, they keep picking rotten and bad groceries! nearly expired milk so disappointed
