My son is autistic and very picky when it comes to food in general. Most commonly, he’s extremely sensitive regarding texture of foods. I was hesitant to have him try these eggs, but to my utter surprise, he absolutely LOVES them. So instead of having to go through the steps of making them myself, I add 2 of these bags every week to my grocery list. The only suggestion I have would be for them to be available in a larger quantity.
I consistently purchase this brand and am very pleased with the freshness. While it may be more economical to prepare the eggs oneself, the convenience is undeniable. They are excellent additions to salads or enjoyed on their own with fresh mandarin oranges. This represents a healthy snack option that does not induce feelings of guilt.
These eggs save you money, because you don't have to turn on your stove, then clean your pan, plus, they're already pealed and boy do they taste good. They are cooked to perfection and I will buy them every chance I get!
I don't like hard boiled eggs enough to make them the old fashioned way, but every now and then I get a craving. This is the perfect grab-and-go convenience bag - they're already peeled, making it easy to grab a few for a snack or to toss in a salad.
These are great tasting hard boiled eggs! They are not overcooked, and delightfully tender. You just can't beat the convenience and this Great Value of already peeled eggs. Great for healthy snacks or for lunch boxes. I always have them on my list.
Since these come in a bag you have to be careful to look at the eggs to make sure none of them are broken/ or crushed. I will only buy these if I go in the store and pick them out myself so they don't get crushed or buried in a pickup order. As long as they don't get smashed they are great, taste much less like chemicals than other pre-boiled eggs, and last for at least a week.
I was pleasantly surprised by these Great Value Cage-Free Hard Boiled Eggs. They're convenient, fresh-tasting, and perfect for a quick snack or adding to salads and lunches. The eggs were peeled well, had a good texture, and saved me the time and hassle of boiling and peeling them myself. I also appreciate that they're cage-free, which makes me feel better about my purchase. Great quality for the price, and I'll definitely be buying them again!
I had my hopes for this item as I am purchasing hard-boiled eggs at my job for breakfast in the mornings. This would definitely be a cheaper option, however, I did not care for the taste at all. They taste a little funny. It's just, they do not taste like cracking a hard-boiled egg that you've recently cooked. It's just, they have like some type of preservative flavor to it and I did not like them whatsoever. Are they terrible? No. But for the money, I would not purchase this again.
I love that they are boiled and peeled. In a pinch to make potato salad or macaroni salad and you don't have time these will work. But on a regular basis no. It didn't taste like a fresh egg, maybe because it's sitting in plastic. But for a pinch it will work.
I'm not sure if it was the chickens but the yolks were very orange. Not yellow. And they didn't taste right. I've always bought this brand and this time was the first time the eggs were weird. I'll still buy again but if it happens again I probably won't.
