As far as value for money, I don't know why anyone would buy large over jumbo. Haven't weighed them, but seriously seems like one jumbo has the volume of maybe 2 large??, comparing the price point of large vs. jumbo. I usually prefer organic eggs and dairy, but at this price I can't justify the price difference.
The Jumbo eggs often have double yolks. The largest eggs almost always have two yolks and I break them in a bowl and slice them into the pan when I want over easy or Sunnyside up eggs. I don't really care for the cardboard carton if I had too find fault with this item. They almost always arrive unbroken for my deliveries orders. I always want only Jumbo eggs I like them that much
I have no issues with buying Great Value eggs. They are probably sourced locally anyway. If I happen to miss the local farmers market....then this is what I buy. No issues at all. I am not going to buy eggs because of some advertising ploy/packaging.
Been buying these Great Value jumbo cage-free eggs for months now, and they've become my go-to. For the price, they're a solid deal. The eggs are consistently fresh, the yolks are nice and yellow, and I rarely open a carton to find a cracked one. They work perfectly for my family's needs—whether I'm making scrambled eggs in the morning or using them in a cake recipe. They're a reliable, budget-friendly option that I'll keep repurchasing.
Jumbo eggs are the best! Let's face it, large eggs are really mediums and medium eggs are small. Your jumbo eggs are the only ones that are truly large. You get more value for your money, i like them hard boiled, easy over, or scrambled. And the jumbo egg is the only one I know of that you can use to make an omelet with just one egg. And every now and then, you'll get one with a double yoke that always feels like a bonus to me. I highly recommend these eggs, because they're more than worth it for the few extra pennies that you spend per dozen.
The eggs were fine. I had them delivered, so I couldn't check the eggs as I normally would before I buy them. So I was disappointed to find one egg cracked and one of the eggs looked medium sized. It was so small that it stood out in the bunch. I understand that an egg might break in transit, but when I pay for jumbo eggs, I expect them all to be that size!
I ordered Jumbo Eggs but the pack of 12 got 2 very small, 4 medium, 5 large and only 1 Jumbo. I don't mind if a dozen jumbo egg pack is out of stock or not available, I could choose Extra Large or Large. But to fill the pack of different sizes is not right.
I don't like white eggs. I know they say they all taste the same, but they don't. I only want BROWN eggs, but Walmart only offered jumbo WHITE eggs. Every now and then I will order them HOPING I won't know the difference. I always DO notice. I WISH WALMART would offer JUMBO BROWN EGGS, I will only want to buy white eggs to dye them for Easter!
I ordered and purchased online, a dozen eggs, 2 boxes of cereal, and a gallon of milk for delivery. Plus, I paid $10 for quick delivery, and $3 for the driver's tip, only to find that 3 of my eggs were cracked. One egg was cracked so bad that it (obviously) had been turned up-side down to conceal the damage. I gave 2 stars to the shopper/driver who delivered my items within 10-15 minutes. For $13 though? It definitely wasn't worth it… I won't do it again. Also: I couldn't find any examples of my issue in your Help section. And: No one in your Chat section picked-up. I see at the bottom of the screen, you ask for pics. Too bad, 2 of the eggs I cooked and one egg I threw away. Suggestion: Move the Pic/Photo section to the Rating: section.
The only reason I gave such a low star rating was because nearly every time we have eggs in our delivery order there is at least one cracked egg. This last order I received the egg was practically broken in half and was spilling into the surrounding egg holes (for lack of what else to call it). would love it if Walmart offered me a free carton of eggs, or maybe a discount for future use, or some kind of incentive. Rant over, the eggs are very good but the shells are very tough. We can't figure that one out.
