I noticed the cooking part of cage free eggs are firmer not as open run on the egg whites yolk which is the selling point for the ads I don't see much difference between the taste of either so cage free eggs are fine as long as they keep prices at the affordable end as great value does I say yes but to pick brands that sell really high because they claim cage free eggs are better I would argue that point
Eggs are pretty much eggs, but what I appreciate about these is that they are always fresh and the cage free option gives me a little peace of mind about how the hens are raised. All of that at a price that is very easy on the budget. I have never had a bad batch and they perform exactly as expected whether I’m scrambling, baking, or anything else. If you want a reliable, affordable, and cage free egg option, these are a solid choice.
They taste great. Every morning I have 2 scrambled eggs with cheese and a little garlic. I use a little extra virgin olive oil to cook them in and they are so good. I have it with a cup of coffee. Makes for a nice breakfast. They are also good as boiled eggs.
I receive Walmart delivery..I find 50 percent of the time...the bagger...bags incorrectly. The eggs are put on top of cabbage, or canned food are put on top of the eggs, some egg were cracked, or smashed. When received the other 50 percent. The quality and taste is very good.
I have ordered these and the 18 count as well and out of the 12 count 4 were stuck to the carton and could not use and out of the 18 count, 7 were broken. I think the personal shoppers shoule be taught to shop for others as they would shop for THEMSELVES!!!!!!!
I'm not happy with those eggs. Though price is OK, and I like that they are cage free, it is a very hard task to peel after they are hard boiled. A person would spend a few minutes trying to peel 3-4 hard boiled eggs. To use them in baking or frying still works, but to peel them is an agony, no less. When I bought eggs from other retailers, I didn't experience difficulty at all.
I wouldn't recommend but it would if it's okay. I had bought Great value eggs before never had too many problems. but I tried to make some the other day and they were water inside they shouldn't be watery like that. I want to do a thunder return off not physically able to take them back to the store. don't know what it was wrong it was the eggs or if they were just stored wrong or what a in transit or how but they shouldn't have been watery the egg whites should be thick.
I ordered the eggs to be delivered. They were past the expiration date. Only one was broken, not eight of them like last time (I think they were crushed by other groceries in transit). The store shoppers should open the cartons before selecting the box. The shoppers, as well as the store stockers, need to look at expiration dates on perishables.
The Great Value eggs were stained with some unknown goop, some were cracked and leaked onto the 2 packets of bacon bits, so all had to be thrown away. I will be submitting my request for reimbursement.
I order 2 doz of eggs one doz was was good The other doz was was missing one egg and the empty shell in the carton of another one and there was 2 cracked eggs Thank You Mary Jane White
