I had no problem with these eggs. some people complain about them but I have no idea why I always get what I ordered. if you don't want any substitutes you put no substitutes. I bought these several times, and the chickens are finally getting their due 😦

Okay let's do an egg review now

Anonymous April 22, 2026

Large eggs are ALWAYS what you use in recipes. I do find though that a carton will not have uniform size eggs in it. I put that down to workers replacing cracked or broken eggs from another carton that may or may not be large. I always twist each egg before putting in my cart. Past experience a egg with a crack on the bottom that leaked and dried, won't move. I have never had a problem with Walmart eggs and usually they have the best price in town and a good supply.

Great Value

susan April 10, 2026

I first chose them because none of them appeared cracked in the carton…the second reason was how similar they all looked…I like my eggs to be uniform…I also like them to behave like eggs when I crack them to: hard boil, fry, scramble, poach, sunny side, soft boil, shirre, coddle, or pickle….all of which I have done—except the last 4. I don’t really know how to make those and little interest in learning. Especially I don’t want to know how to coddle an egg. My dog is spoiled enough.

Decent eggs for a low price.

Jordan April 12, 2026

These are decent eggs for a reasonable price. These work great for all recipes and easy to boil as well. These shells are on the thinner side in comparison to farm fresh eggs however. They lack fluffiness for scrambled eggs, but definitely work just fine when cooked in recipes.

I ordered one dozen white eggs, I put a substitution down for some other one dozen eggs. but they sent me 18 count eggs. I live by myself I don't have any family to eat food with. so the eggs went bad before I had a chance to finish them. I don't understand why they think giving me a larger package is better than the size I asked for. it's wasting food. this is not the first time this happened. in Chicopee one time I ordered one dozen great value eggs at a fantastic price and they sent me an expensive organic cage free Etc 18 count expensive eggs. I didn't feel good about that either. too many mistakes. always. seems to me that sometimes when they get to the end of my order, The Shopper is either tired or it's getting late and they need to get going so the last few things on my list supposedly are out of stock. the other day on the last order, I ordered two different kinds of bread, and for each of the breads I ordered a substitution of another name brand bread. and I got no bread at all. it's hard to believe out of four different kinds of bread all of them were out of stock.

Disappointed in quality

Denisse May 2, 2026

I received my eggs with two broken. And quality is everything I would think an employee would check before putting them in the order. I did customers shopping for years at Ralph’s and it takes less than a min to check that the quality is up to standards.

Un believable poor services!

S May 30, 2026

I ordered two boxes of these eggs and 13 of them were broken! Could you believe that? Each time I ordered on line I faced with a lots of problems and each time you promised me it never happen again. Please be honest and stop living to the customers. Is that my fault to trusting you?!

Deceptive

perfect October 24, 2025

These are small eggs sold as large eggs because you do not think customers will realize you have raised prices. When I order/purchase large eggs, I expect to get large eggs. if I wanted small ones, I would have bought them. Retailers should not assume we do not know the difference between what we are purchasing from what we have received. Be open with your pricing.

Broken eggs

Lidia April 19, 2026

The people you have working there should be checking the eggs before picking them out for the customer .. eggs are expensive as is and I received a carton with about 5 or 6 eggs stuck to the carton because there was dry yolk spilt on the bottom of them.

Great Value large and extra large 18 count eggs is a product I got bought for many years. the last two times that I have purchased the eggs are very different they don't crack right they don't peel smooth, the membrane is very thick and the color of the egg when it's cooked is just a pale, pale yellow not the same taste, not the quality we are used to. I will not purchase Great Value eggs again.
