Great Value Cage-Free White Jumbo Eggs, 12 Count

I have no issues with buying Great Value eggs. They are probably sourced locally anyway. If I happen to miss the local farmers market....then this is what I buy. No issues at all. I am not going to buy eggs because of some advertising ploy/packaging.

As far as value for money, I don't know why anyone would buy large over jumbo. Haven't weighed them, but seriously seems like one jumbo has the volume of maybe 2 large??, comparing the price point of large vs. jumbo. I usually prefer organic eggs and dairy, but at this price I can't justify the price difference.

The Jumbo eggs often have double yolks. The largest eggs almost always have two yolks and I break them in a bowl and slice them into the pan when I want over easy or Sunnyside up eggs. I don't really care for the cardboard carton if I had too find fault with this item. They almost always arrive unbroken for my deliveries orders. I always want only Jumbo eggs I like them that much

Our local market in Mt Shasta has jumbo eggs for $7 , if they have them at all ! $2.82 from Walmart, always on time delivery and friendly service. ALWAYS tip the driver extra IN CASH so he can keep it all ! The Walmart in Yreka is 35 miles away !!! And they DELIVER !

My only complaint is that one egg was dented, but without leakage. Many times when I buy eggs at Walmart, at least one egg in a carton of a dozen is cracked or broken, leading to putting that carton aside and checking another. I once went through five cartons before finding one with no damaged eggs.

The eggs were fine. I had them delivered, so I couldn't check the eggs as I normally would before I buy them. So I was disappointed to find one egg cracked and one of the eggs looked medium sized. It was so small that it stood out in the bunch. I understand that an egg might break in transit, but when I pay for jumbo eggs, I expect them all to be that size!

I don't like white eggs. I know they say they all taste the same, but they don't. I only want BROWN eggs, but Walmart only offered jumbo WHITE eggs. Every now and then I will order them HOPING I won't know the difference. I always DO notice. I WISH WALMART would offer JUMBO BROWN EGGS, I will only want to buy white eggs to dye them for Easter!

I ordered Jumbo Eggs but the pack of 12 got 2 very small, 4 medium, 5 large and only 1 Jumbo. I don't mind if a dozen jumbo egg pack is out of stock or not available, I could choose Extra Large or Large. But to fill the pack of different sizes is not right.

Because I prefer buying and eating jumbo size eggs, and Walmart has the best price for jumbo eggs, I rate an average of 4 stars. But if I were to rate as a "foodie", the whites before cooking spread on pan like water, and lacking in taste. Those eggs look and cook like eggs, but barely any egg taste if subjected to a blind taste test.

The shell is too thin and the taste has changed. The flesh of the egg sticks to the shell when boiled. Very disappointing. I stopped buying another brand because these eggs are larger than the ones I was buying. I've been buying these jumbo eggs for four or five months and they taste good..
