Great to keep in the pantry. The tidbits are the perfect size for snacking, adding to recipes, or tossing into things like yogurt or cottage cheese. Sweet, juicy, and not overly syrupy since it is packed in juice. Flavor is really good for canned fruit and feels pretty close to fresh once it is chilled. Sometimes you get a few softer pieces, but overall it is consistent. Easy, affordable staple that gets used more than you expect.

Pineapple is one of my favorite fruits.Perfect in smoothies, stir fry or as a dessert or snack. I wouldn't recommend tidbits in general as a snack or a side dish. For that You need the rings which are handled less and tend to be softer for straight eating out of the can. Although what you really need for a snack is fresh cut pineapple, which walmart also has super cheap and super yummy wink wink ;) What matters is, these are not hard. They cook and stir fry perfectly. I even drink the juice and there's no sugary taste.It's all natural, and it's super cheap by comparison. Definitely a product to keep on hand.

okay so these are not the typical generic fruit. The texture was great no hard pieces, the flavor was poppin and the quality al around was more than I expected from great value fruit. Hats off, this one was a win for me. Even the little bits were still fruity, not gelled. The juice wasn't watery either. Yay for this product-- 5 stars.

I used this pineapple in two Thanksgiving dishes and this pineapple was excellent! It was flavorful, tasty and a Great Value. So when I ordered recently OnLine I had to get more for Christmas dishes I'm making. Thanks Walmart for your Great Value prices and for your excellent products!

I havnt bought any canned pineapple from del monte, dole and gv for about a yr or more because of it being cut with the core and not very chewable. So thought i would buy a case (gv) at a resonable price. And manufacturer still adding pinnapple core to it! Flavor is ok and juice good. That's about it. Think maybe i will try buying a fresh pinnapple and see if it is any good. So dissapointed in pinnapple manufaturers for 6 yrs. Will not buy anymore.

Being a pineapple lover, I had great expectations for these pineapple tidbits. The tidbits are just the right size for multiple uses, and I loved that they are packed in fruit juice. I had to order 6 cans since single cans aren't available. Then I waited over a week for delivery. The first thing I noticed was the color: The pieces are a very pale yellow. The flavor is sort of reminiscent of pineapple. The texture is very, very firm. My thought after eating a dish of the tidbits with a meal: These poor babies shouldn't have been taken away from their mother until they were ripe. But...the juice is very good. I guess I'll get creative with the other 5 cans.

I’ve purchased this several times to have on hand. While I like the size of the tidbits, I’m thoroughly unimpressed with the quality and production of the product. It has way too much hardened portions, indicating serious shortcuts in how much care is taken to make cuts. As long as I have the patience to cut a fresh pineapple, it is far tastier and cheaper than this sad canned version.

My family typically eats 2-3 cans of this pineapple each week. However, our last purchase included 15 cans that were different / more shiny and the pineapple in them tasted horrible! We ended up throwing out the pineapple from the two cans we opened and returned the rest. The new / different cans and the pineapple juice must have had some sort of reaction that affected the flavor.

I have purchased this 12-pack of canned fruit a few times and it was shipped. Each time the cans have been somewhat dented but I ate the fruit and it was ok. This last shipment, the cans were severely dented and I am afraid to eat the fruit for seven of the cans because they were dented so badly and I read that the food inside dented cans can make you sick.
