Great Value Chewy Protein Bar, Peanut Butter & Dark Chocolate, 7 oz, 5 Count

I was trying to find a chewy protein bar and the name brand bars were not chewy enough for my taste. I tried the wal-mart bar and it suited my taste buds.

I buy these for my husband and he likes them very much. It is a healthier protein “candy bar” option that he enjoys as a snack/dessert. This is a repeat buy for us.

The taste is great. The size is perfect. The chew? So hard. I find this is a problem with most protein granola chewy bars. It gives the jaw a workout.

I actually really like these protein bars. Walmart did a great job with the flavor and texture, they satisfy the cravings while giving a protein bar benefit. Perfect for home, on the go or in your desk at work to boost your day!

These are REALLY very yummy! I keep them in my desk at work and the 5 count is perfect for my 5-day work week. They give me just the boost I need to get through the rest of the day.

Bought these for my husband as snacks while he was in the hospital and he loved them. I tried one and they tasted very good. Not sure about any energy boost but they tasted good!

Being diabetic I need snacks and this one is a nice one that doesn't cause my glucose to spike and satisfies hunger between meals or to eat before bedtime to fend off critical lows during my sleep

Good little snack for anytime. Flavorful, crunchy, chewy and of course has the added chocolate as a treat. These bars are small and a bit crumbly. Good taste and decently priced.

I really wanted to like these. They're much cheaper than most protein bars. Taste wise, they're not bad at all and I liked how the added sugar is pretty low. However, the quality is quite low, I don't find the ingredients to be on the same level as the higher end bars. I was ok with that, but I had some… problems with these bars. I believe it was the glycerin. So just a heads up, there is glycerin in here and I don't believe it's an inconsequential amount, either.
