this is one of my best new finds and I don't know why it took me so long to find it. I use it for everything actually whether it's for bagels crackers chips potatoes anything and everything. price is the best around the taste can't be beat and I wish they sold it in a larger size but now I buy two at a time because I think other people are figuring this out and sometimes the stock of this item is running low
Great stuff here. Perfect for spreads. Or dips. Love bagels. Right there is an answer. Get PLAIN bagels and slather some of this on, and you'll think you have reached heaven. Make a cream cheese dip, get the crackers out, and munch away. Pasta dish...put this on the warm to hot pastas. Kick back...say dinner's ready...and delicious. *often thin down w/heavy, half-and-half, whole milk and some butter. Seriously!!! go full steam folks.
This cream cheese is soft and spreadable - great for crackers or bagels, or dipping veggies in. The taste is amazing and would be so good if making a cheese ball or a spread, or added to a soup or casserole . I'd recommend the garden and the buffalo too!
I actually found the Walmart brand to have a better flavor than the name brand chive and onion Cream cheese… I will set it out for a short period to let it soften and it can be used as a dip for chips… I also use it when making ham roll ups… It makes it easy because I just add a little garlic powder to it and mix it up real well and use it as the filling. I do this as a shortcut when I don't have time to grate up my own onion into cream cheese… It is much cheaper than the name brand and again I find the quality better in my opinion. I would recommend and I definitely have bought this several times.
This cream cheese taste better than Philly! It is creamy and the taste is delicious. We eat it on crackers, with veggies, in casseroles and in dips. It is always such a good snack item and even the kids love it. Can't go wrong with this. Consistently delicious.
This has become my go-to for bagels. But it is also really tasty spread on a sandwich and for a dip for chips or veggies. I think this is better than the "high-priced" spread because it has more flavor. I usually buy at least a couple one that I use for dips--excellent with Queso chips or Hint-of-Lime Corn chips and the other one I save for sandwiches or bagels.
This cream cheese is amazing for sandwiches, pinwheels, bagels, and pita treats. If you can, place a 'slice/blob' of the cream cheese on the bread/tortilla/pita of your choice and toast in a toaster oven for about a half a minute to a minute, to get the cheese to soften. Then you can easily spread it evenly across the bread like a pro! I really like cream cheese, but with chives added, it's just sublime! Try it on a BLT, a roast beef sandwich, or garlic bread for starters!
Great Value Cream Cheese Green Onion Chive dip has a different flavor than name brand onion dips, but this flavor is more of a green onion flavor, a little lighter than a full on onion flavor. It has more of a sour cream base . I like it with most any presentation whether as an easy dip for chips, or veggies, as a topping for many dishes such as tacos or nachos. It's great to top a baked potato, or add to any savory dish as a sub for regular sour cream for added flavor. There is some liquid whey after the first use, but just drain it, or stir it in. It's very creamy, not spicy, and is light.
I love this cream cheese, what I didn't like is i received a squashed mis-shaped tub that was forced slightly open by the pressure of something. It seemed to be permanently squashed into being mis- shaped. I don't understand how the shopper for my delivery order didn't notice. Walmart made it right but i hate having to report stuff like this.
The reason while I gave this rating is because the driver left my food outside on the dirt ground. Ice cream, frozen goods were set outside a good thirty minutes on a warm 75 degree before I realized they were just sitting on the ground. I filed a complaint and no one has reached out to me. I SPEND TOO MUCH MONEY, WE ALL DO. All I require is for them to ring doorbell so I Can know it's there. I ALWAYS TIP, EVEN WHEN I AM STRUGGLING. I AM DISABLED BUT I CARE ABOUT YOU TOO.
