Great Value Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Spread, Soft, 8 oz Tub

Nothing against Philadelphia brand, but for me, this makes more sense. It costs less, and it tastes as good as the name brand. It's great on crackers, toast, bagels, Emglisg muffins, and I have been known to use it in cooking. It adds a nice, subtle zip to soups and sauces. Oddly,I do yet like the blocks of cream cheese, nut I do love the whipped cream cheese varieties, and this is the best if you prefer savory to sweet, which I do. The strawberry cream cheese is also good.

I actually found the Walmart brand to have a better flavor than the name brand chive and onion Cream cheese… I will set it out for a short period to let it soften and it can be used as a dip for chips… I also use it when making ham roll ups… It makes it easy because I just add a little garlic powder to it and mix it up real well and use it as the filling. I do this as a shortcut when I don't have time to grate up my own onion into cream cheese… It is much cheaper than the name brand and again I find the quality better in my opinion. I would recommend and I definitely have bought this several times.

This has become my go-to for bagels. But it is also really tasty spread on a sandwich and for a dip for chips or veggies. I think this is better than the "high-priced" spread because it has more flavor. I usually buy at least a couple one that I use for dips--excellent with Queso chips or Hint-of-Lime Corn chips and the other one I save for sandwiches or bagels.

The Great Value Chive %26 Onion Cream Cheese Spread is fantastic! It's smooth, creamy, and perfectly flavored with just the right amount of chives and onion. I love the oniony taste of this cream cheese ~ not too much yet enough to know that it has been enhanced with fresh chives when it was made. I love it on crackers; even flavored ones! It holds it own whether you pair it on an 'everything' bagel or radishes (fresh out of the garden)! It is smooth and creamy and spreads easily.

This is my personal favorite. I love having this on a slice of toast or a bagel. I also use this to stuff peppers and wrap them in a littlw bacon for the grill or air fryer. The flavor and the texture are right on point. It spreads so nicely, not going to lie sometimes I put a little extra on my bagel! This is one thing I always keep in my fridge. Definitely give this one a try. It's awesome.

This cream cheese is soft and spreadable - great for crackers or bagels, or dipping veggies in. The taste is amazing and would be so good if making a cheese ball or a spread, or added to a soup or casserole . I'd recommend the garden and the buffalo too!

Overall, this cream cheese onion is a winner! I chose not to deduct a star for the small milk separation I find when removing the seal under the lid- it's easy to blend it back into the spread with a butter knife or spoon. On a toasted bagel with a slice of tomato, this spread is perfect! I've also made it into a dip by adding a tablespoon or two of milk then mixing it with a spoon. It got rave reviews as a dip, particularly with pretzels. If you've never tried cream cheese as a pretzel dip, I think you'll love it! Especially if you like "sour cream %26 onion" flavor on any kind of chip. My only "wish list" for this item is for WM to offer this flavor as a whipped cream cheese style; They currently only offer unflavored whipped cream cheese %26 strawberry flavor. Maybe WM is restricted from selling any other flavors along side of the national brand?

They were out of my usual brand with a P so I tried this. I'm very happy I did. I went with the Chive and flavor to add a little zing and break up the smooth texture of regular cream cheese. And I'm glad I did. Nice flavor, stays fresh - even if you forget to fully close the lid, and has been a staple in my fridge nowadays. Two pinkies up!

The reason while I gave this rating is because the driver left my food outside on the dirt ground. Ice cream, frozen goods were set outside a good thirty minutes on a warm 75 degree before I realized they were just sitting on the ground. I filed a complaint and no one has reached out to me. I SPEND TOO MUCH MONEY, WE ALL DO. All I require is for them to ring doorbell so I Can know it's there. I ALWAYS TIP, EVEN WHEN I AM STRUGGLING. I AM DISABLED BUT I CARE ABOUT YOU TOO.
