I am addicted to this ice cream. I never thought when I moved to Missouri from Texas that I would ever wanna eat anything but Bluebell but I have changed my mind. Bluebell is great, but it's too expensive up here. This ice cream is priced perfectly. :)
The taste was good and the price was affordable ,I live on a very tight budget so I try different products , I will be trying the strawberry next time I have a little bit of money to splurge, the big plus was that my2 year old grandson found that the bucket made a fine helmet,
Ever want Ice Cream in the dead of winter and people think you're crazy?I couldn't get Chocolate Chip and most others were low in stck, so I purchased this. Nice thing is the size for the price! A lot of Grandbabies=Lots of Ice Cream. Like Christmas in July, we have Summer in the dead of Winer, just to keep the babies hopeful during the Winer blahs. Perfect with any toppings you choose and doesn't leave that chalky after taste. One of the only brands to come in the giant gallon size, and we consume a lot of it year round! Just wish they'd make Chocolate Chip, without the Cookie Dough!
I love the ice cream but I love the containers with a little handles and I just don't want to collect a bunch of containers so I can't make myself soft ordering the ice cream and the big giant buckets I want to get like several different flavors like in the little smaller ones but then every now and then it's like I need one of those little buckets so I have to get the big one but yeah it's all very good very good
Great Value Chocolate Ice Cream is a favorite in our house! It's rich, creamy, and full of delicious chocolate flavor without the expensive price tag. The large 128-ounce tub is perfect for our family, especially when the grandkids come over. We enjoy it in ice cream cones, root beer floats, milkshakes, banana splits, and alongside warm brownies or chocolate cake. Sometimes we even blend it with chocolate milk for an extra-rich chocolate smoothie. The texture is smooth, it scoops easily, and everyone always asks for seconds. For the quality, taste, and value, this is one dessert we always keep stocked in our freezer.
Great ice cream! Good taste! I like to eat ice cream after supper or to cool off when hot! I buy the small ice cream comes and make me an ice cream cone! This way I don't eat too much! If I fix a bowl full, I eat way too much! Thia has a great taste and is cheaper than the well-known brands!! RECOMMEND!
The wife loves this, works great in milk shakes, cones, and bowls. This is a basic chocolate, great for party bowls, a little fudge, some nuts, sprinkles, its the bomb. I find it nice now and then, I don't have ice cream often and like a richer version, for example Ben and Jerrys Cherry Garcia, or Americone Dream...
If you are ordering this item as part of a Walmart delivery, during the summer time, be careful, Walmart is NOT using insulated bags or anything to protect the ice cream or basically any refrigerated items like Milk, Eggs, Cheese, items from the deli like a 1/2 pound of sliced turkey. These items may be placed in a 3rd party vehicle, driven around in summer heat without real protection from hot weather by a 3rd party for delivery and delivered up to 1 hour from the time they picked up the item. Walmart over the phone told me they have a 1 hour delivery window for groceries, that may work during the winter for frozen and refrigerated foods depending on where you live, but in the summer a car without air conditioning while stopping at multiple deliveries for say 50 minutes before getting to your home and leaving it outside your home, may not be the best for the quality or safety of the food for consumption, I asked about why they aren't using insulated bags, the person had no answer. I was told by the person on the phone, that Walmart relies on the 3rd party delivery company to deliver within a 1 hour time slot, but I honestly question the reality of a 1 hour time slot for dairy or frozen foods that may not be properly wrapped/insulated for a 1 hour time frame out in summer weather. I did receive this ice cream from a delivery driver, in which the parameter of the ice cream container when opened had melted ice cream to where it was almost liquid for the first 1/2 inch around the parameter, I don't think that is an acceptable risk for food delivery, I've also received milk that really I questioned the temperature of the milk to myself , knowing milk should be really maintained at a safe temperature to protect the quality as well as the length of time the milk will be good in my fridge, after it was exposed to summer heat. Again, the Walmart employee told me that the 3rd party vendor is told to return the food if not delivered in 1 hour time frame, I think that 1 hour time frame is fine for the winter if it's in the trunk of their car during winter, but a 1 hour time frame during the summer heat????? I question if almost an hour is too long for certain foods to be in a car before delivery, my thinking is maybe 20-30 minutes at most in summer heat?? Just a thought since they are not using insulated bags and dropping this issue it seems on a 3rd party, instead of addressing it IMMEDIATELY inside walmart upper management, when I say upper management, I mean corporate headquarters of Walmart, not the local store manager that has enough to worry about. I would love to see Walmart make an effort with insulated bags of frozen, dairy products, deli meats, meats, anything that should be better maintained on temperature during summer months or really any months that may be hot, doesn't need to be only summer. Walmart should put frozen/dairy in regular bags, those bags go into insulated bags, the vendor can return insulated bag to Walmart for reuse.
Not like the smaller ones. It doesn't save money when it doesn't taste like the same brand smaller containers, and it's not sealed in any way. It's soft, I even turned up my freezer, thinking it was a "me" problem. Also, doesn't have a very chocolate flavor, I can't believe this is normal, or they couldn't sell any a second time.
we love the ice cream, but will never get it again! We never received this one! I am devastated because I have been with Walmart since they came to Utah. And now that I needed them in my time of need. I have a disability and can't drive I paid for the delivery service. This ice cream plus 40 other items over a hundred dollars has not shown up or will it. Walmart told us that they are responsible for our food after it leaves the store. Wow! So now I'm going to have to go to another store. And have to live without alot of things. I know if this happened to one of my customers I would have rounded up the groceries and delivered them myself! I live a half a mile away from the store. I hope the person that was suppose to deliver my groceries feels horrible for stealing!
