This is a must to keep in the house. Keeping a whole bell pepper without smelling up the refrigerator is difficult. If I only use it for recipes like meatloaf, I can take some out of this package and it lasts a good while. There's no use buying a whole pepper and throwing most of it away.
This is something I started using more often because it cuts down on waste. Since it's frozen, I can just use what I need and put the rest back without worrying about it going bad too quickly. The pieces are already chopped, which saves time when cooking, especially for quick meals. It's easy to add them straight into dishes without extra prep. They hold their flavor well and cook up nicely, whether you're adding them to rice, eggs, or other meals. I like using them when I want something simple but still want that extra flavor in the dish. It's also convenient to keep in the freezer since it's ready whenever you need it, and you're not rushing to use it before it spoils. If you're looking for something practical, easy to use, and a good way to avoid wasting fresh produce, this is a solid option to keep on hand.
I bought this to add to spaghetti, but they'll also make a flavorful addition to Chinese food or even omelets. It's just so fuss free to skip chopping your own onions and peppers. This way you can open the bag then reseal it in ziploc freezer bags and toss it back in the freezer. You get all the taste with none of the work.
I was thrilled to find pre choed up green 🟩 peppers. i cook for 1 and don't like having to cut up a 🫑remove the seeds... only to have to throw away leftovers. these are great, I always keep them in my freezer and, the best part is... only one ingredient.
I made a giant bowl of salad. I began by adding a bunch of fresh ingredients, and then I topped the salad off with these frozen peppers. It was a wonderful decision. The peppers gave my salad some serious robust flavor! It worked out amazingly. The peppers tasted fresh and delicious. I highly recommend them for any meal!
these are nice to have one again that way you're not cutting up all your vegetables the frozen ones are just as good as the fresh ones earth makes it a lot easier to cook throw things together I buy my onions and my green peppers Frozen or sometimes together they are good
Have problems with all our stores after items are picked cold items they don't keep in cooler especially salads being Wilted. Not buying pick up as much anymore.Poor Supvisey now that the Truth or i would not sitting complaining about.Should be a memo go out to stores keep items in cooler.Know nothing will be done about this. But i have to try. Thanks
I didn't even know green peppers were in the freezer until I couldn't get a fresh one and had to look elsewhere. I like adding peppers to a lot of recipes and having this bag of frozen, already diced, peppers on hand is great. These are not as crisp and fresh as getting one from produce, but if you are going to cook with them, these are a real time saver and they taste good.
Walmart: PLEASE keep these stocked! I'm disabled and these make it Soooo much easier to prep meals. The taste is great. The only thing I would recommend is that if they were chopped twice the size larger. But thank you Walmart for carrying these green peppers! Yummy
Last couple of purchases the peppers were all frozen solid. Couldn't get them to separate. Banged the bag on table to break them up. Ended up with a huge mess when bag split open %26 pieces of loose pepper flew everywhere. Also rotten smell upon opening bag. In the trash they went. Won't ever purchase again.
