Great Value Cinnamon Sticks, 0.75 oz

I used one cinnamon stick to flavor over 2 quarts of elderberry juice that I steamed. It was very flavorful, even though I only used one stick. There were five sticks and a bottle.

Honestly, I thought the cinnamon sticks were a bit pricey, for the size and number in the bottle. But perhaps that is a sign of the times. The taste from a stick is more subtle than if you just shook finely ground cinnamon into your baking. So, I'll continue to use it, but don't know if I am committed to this brand.

I use two GV cinnamon sticks for stovetop potpourri during the wintertime to keep the house smelling warm and welcoming. I add it to a saucepan with water, apple peels, orange peels, cranberries, whole cloves, allspice and powdered cinnamon. I bring the water to a boil, turn it down to a simmer and let it go. I check it once an hour to make sure it doesn't boil away all the water. It smells great! Great Value has good prices on spices and especially cinnamon sticks. They can be expensive and I'm glad I can get these for a reasonable price

I love cinnamon and these cinnamon stick smells so good and they're nice to cook with. I just like to put them in the water and put them on the stove and let them boil a little bit so the house will smell like it. Awesome by

Yes, it truly was a great value and it makes my Apt smell really nice. NOTE: If you have a pet like I do just leave the boiled cinnamon in a pan because cinnamon is not good for cats digestive system if they inhale the smell.

i never bought cinnamon sticks before. but i took my 12 cup coffee pot, got it all set up to make coffee. right before i turned the machine on, i dropped 1 stick in the carafes (coffee pot). made coffee n i now had cinnamon coffee. oh was it tasty!! not real strong. i was trying to figure out how to make cinnamon coffee for years. i left the cinnamon stick in the pot over night. i dont mind leftover coffee. these sticks are very nice n flavorful for not being brand name. i will buy more

I have to admit I bought the cinnamon sticks for a craft project, so I do not know anything else about them

The first thing I've done was sniff the sticks. what I smelt didn't smell like cinnamon. I had to use two sticks to get just a little cinnamon flavor in my coffee. what I got had very little flavor to it. Spend a little more for an enjoyable experience.

These are weak cinnamon sticks . They don't even smell like cinnamon. I won't be buying them anymore.
