We really like the G.V. Lemonade, it has a great flavor. And, my husband favorite drink is the “Arnold Palmer.” I buy the G.V. gallon of Tea (sweetened or unsweetened-add pkts of sweetener) %26 make a glass of 1/2 lemonade %26 1/2 of tea. Happy man. :)
I've always loved Milos Lemonade because it's one of the ones closest to homemade lemonade. My Mom taughr me to cheat and use bottled lemom juice concentrate. Add water and sugar and you had tasty lemonade instead of wasting lemons all the time.
This lemonade has a nice, bright lemon flavor, but for my taste it's much sweeter than I expected straight from the bottle. The sweetness overpowers the tartness, so it didn't have the balanced lemonade flavor I was hoping for. What worked well for me was pouring it over plenty of ice and adding a little cold water. That toned down the sweetness and let more of the lemon flavor come through. After doing that, it was much more refreshing and enjoyable. The large 128 oz bottle is convenient for families or gatherings, and if you prefer a sweeter lemonade, you may enjoy it exactly as it is. If you like your lemonade more tart and less sugary, you may want to dilute it slightly before serving. It's a decent value, but I'd love to see a version with a little less added sweetness or more lemon flavor for a better balance.
I like the fact that it was affortable and was sizeable, but it lacked the traditional lemonade taste. If made with real lemons and more sugar it would improve the taste. The packaging is good.
I chose this lemonade over Milos because of the price point and the good reviews. However, the taste was not so good. The lemonade tasted as if made from less than fresh lemons. I will purchase Milos in the future, in spite of the higher price
I received this product as a substitute for Milo‘s lemonade. I gave it a shot and it tasted like it was chipper than the powder flavor stuff you buy, but you know what you're getting and left a seriously bad aftertaste that lingered for hours. And, the kicker is I chose a substitute and they ignored to get what I chose, which also stated that it was available and when I tried to speak to the shopper via text, they close the window immediately as I received the message of substitute
The taste was awful! Like it had been exposed to heat or something that caused the plastic container to leach into the lemonade. I could taste the plastic! At least that's what it tasted like to me. A waste of money that I don't have to waste! Very disappointing!
Why did Walmart change the taste of its lemonade?? This is a watered down, cheaply made derivative of what it used to sell. When you lay this container on the side, it leaks. Bring back the other lemonade from great value / marketside!! The one you sold last year and in years prior was better. Some of us can pay more for better quality.
I RECEIVED THIS AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR MILO'S LEMONADE. IT TASTES AS THOUGH IT WAS MADE IN A FACTORY THAT HAD LOTS OF WATER AND SUGAR AND ABSOLUTELY NO LEMONS (POSSIBLY A PHOTOGRAPH OF ONE SOMEWHERE ON THE PREMISES). IT'S GOING DOWN THE DRAIN!
Don't buy this. They must've changed the recipe, and now it has a strong synthetic taste. I bought this because I thought they just changed the packaging for Great Value lemonade, but now it tastes like all the other terrible brands.
