I learned about this in a laundry group. I'd forgotten my grandmother used it. If you're washing laundry that has persistent odors (like armpit funk) or is very greasy/oily or has those pesky little oil spots after a wash load, add a cup of ammonia to your wash cycle with your regular detergent. I pour it right into the bottom of the drum, regardless of top/front load. If you can, add an extra rinse. It will smell lightly of ammonia at end of wash cycle but will smell of nothing at all once dry.

I bought this product because I needed to get the cats out of a crawl space in my apartment.Because they had fleas... This generic brand worked great... If you ever have to do this?Please google method %26 this generic works got them out before my Landlord sealed it... They were not going to make sure the cats were gone.So I had to , and I got them out , and it's very humane. I haven't used it for any other purpose , but it worked for that

great to pour a cup in a bath tub of hot water to soak mini blinds- dissolves greasy dust/ dirt fast- open a window first- fumes are strong. takes only minutes to work , then rinse/ spray with hot water. I like the scented kind. I also use it down bathroom room drains to unclog the sink- dissolves hair quick - use every week or when needed for toilets.

This paired with Great Value dishsoap makes a great cleaner for dirty walls. It's also good for grease cutting full strength. I don't mind the smell of ammonia but some people can't handle it. I learned to use this from my mother who cleaned houses for extra income and it's always been a staple in my cleaning cupboard. If you want to stip your floors of wax it works too. I would purchase again.
