I use these plates during food prep, ex. cutting up veggies, cubing mean, patting out meat, etc. I use them to feed my animals, both domestic and feral. I use them to serve sandwiches on with chips, olives, and gherkins. I also use them to serve desserts on, such as cake or pie. Use and discard. No clean up required! It may not be economical or eco-friendly in the long run, but when you reach a certain age, short and sweet is good!
My wife has been buying these for years. Only thing I can say bad about them that sometimes we get a pack, and the plates stick together, and it seems it happening more and more of that. Another thing is through the years they cost twice as much, so we try to use them less than before when they cost over a $11. dollars now, 4-14-2025.
I always buy this product because I love coated paper plates they stand up to all kinds of foods and they don’t soak up liquids making them fall apart. I recommend them to anybody else that needs paper plates!
They are truly a great value- strong, leak proof, and they separate without a lot of hassle. Pet peeve of mine :) They can go in the mulch pile even though wax coated they do breakdown.
I use them for microwaving, the great-granddaughters and non-wet foods. They are coated so stuff doesn't stick so bad. I have been buying them forever.
works great. only have to use 1 plate for meals that arent super sloppy, lots of liquid, i usually use 2 plates. they sometimes stick together during the manufacture process, but should come apart pretty easy.
I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. In the interest of full disclosure, I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. That being said, I am able to recommend these Great Value Coated Paper Plates to others who are looking for quality and convenience. Our family has a full schedule of activities after school and evenings so I like to use paper plates at dinner when I can to clean up quickly to maximize my time with them. These paper plates are a great help. The coating prevents them from becoming saturated and from falling apart when sauces or liquids are involved.
I like the fact that the paper plates are Coated and less likely to absorb liquids from foods. I like to use them when I microwave food. The downside is they are not very strong.
I buy these plates because they are strong enough to hold food without bending. I tried the regular Great Value plates and almost always had to use two. They were too flimsy and allowed liquids to soak through them. These heavy duty plates solved both my problems! Now I keep a stack handy.
In my driver notes I requested to: (COME THRU GARAGE/LEAVE GROCERIES ON RUG OR ON SMALL FREEZER)! Instead it was placed at the front door with NO NOTICE OF THE DELIVERED ITEMS. Both ice cream items were fairly melted the rest of the items were left like someone was in a hurry to get out of there. That was the worst delivery I've ever had, I always leave the GARAGE DOOR OPEN FOR DELIVERIES! SAD
