This is really good ham for sandwiches, I would have given 5-stars but there was a bit of grizzle in one piece of the pack. That is rare but it happens. Also, this is the most affordable ham for sandwiches that I've found. Very good with mustard %26 cheddar cheese. :)
Excellent quality and great taste! This ham is fresh, flavorful, and perfect for sandwiches, breakfast, or quick meals. The slices are a good thickness, and it stays fresh after opening. It's an affordable option that delivers great value without sacrificing quality. I will definitely buy it again!
Ham and cheese with tomato and onion, that's a great sandwich. I like the taste and texture of this ham because it works great for those sandwiches. We use it in our salads slicing it into small pieces also. It taste great cold or heated in the pan. Prices has gone up like everything else, but still for a lb. it's not to bad. It's great for a quick simple lunch option. I have tomato soup some nights, a sandwich of this is sitting on my plate with cheese added right before its browned in the frying pan and that cheese has started to melt. Makes me very happy. It's a decent price for a lb. of cooked ham.
We use ham in many meals, salads, sandwiches, breakfast Ham %26 Eggs, etc. This is a good ham at a reasonable price. A fairly lean cut that is not excessively salty. The package is resealable and keeps well refrigerated. It's a staple food in our home that won't break the bank.
Tastes good. Flavor is there. Good for sammies, cold or hot. I like to put a couple of slices on a piece of bread and put my favorite cheese (swiss, mozza or havarti) on the other and pop them in my countertop convection/air fryer on the toaster setting, usually on a medium setting. A few moments later and PRESTO! A quick and tasty lunch. Just add your fav chips and drink.
This ham is a nice alternative to the much pricier Krakus ham. It has a nice flavor and stays fresh a good while in it sealed container in the refrigerator. It is verse at all as it can be used in salads, on sandwiches, and soup, and as an hors d'oeuvre rolled up with cream cheese and chives. I gave this product of four out of five because the slices are a little thin, and it is a little salty to the taste. Would love to see a low fat, low sodium version of this item. I will buy it again as it is a handy staple to have in the house when the Family schedule is tight. Makes a nice lunch in a hurry.
If I'm not buying deli lunch meat then the great value cooked ham and oven roasted turkey are my choices. I think great value has some of the best dupes on products, compared to other retailers and in my opinion sometimes it taste better than the original at a better price. It's thin sliced like a level 1 or 2 not so thin it's just clumped together. Great for wraps, sandwiches , has that good ham taste. Today they put so many flavors on ham. Sweet, smoked, … I like my ham to taste like ham!
I don't know if I purchased a "bad batch" item, or if this is always the case with this product, but it's got a lot of fat swirling throughout the entire package. Some way more than others. I've cut away significant portions of some slices because it's pretty unappetizing.
obviously you get what you pay for just switch that it would last longer in the refrigerator than three or four days we've tried sealing it draining the bag we tried several different things it only stays fresh so long but it's good for a weekend where you just put Ham on everything 😅
This ham used to be really good, but the last few times I've bought it, the quality has declined sharply. This time, it was gross and slimy, inedible. I understand that sometimes things happen, and a single package isn't indicative of quality. However, the last two times I've bought it, it's been more gristle than ever before. Added to the single inedible package, it's adding up to quality problems, and I do not recommend buying it.
