This cream cheese isn’t as flavorful as the Philadelphia one but it’s much more affordable. I usually buy this on when making pastries or deserts as you add stuff to change the flavor up a bit
I do not like cream cheese I don’t like the taste of it,, but I put it in food I’m cooking and I cannot taste it so yes, I would recommend this.
It’s as good as the name brand. Couldn’t tell the difference! I used it to make a New York style cheesecake my family really enjoyed! Highly recommend it!
Excellent Quality! This cream cheese is perfect for any application. Whether you are making cheesecake or just smearing it on top of a toasted bagel, this cream cheese is smooth and delicious. The price of the two pack makes it an excellent value.
I grabbed the Great Value Cream Cheese on a grocery run where I was already over budget and over it—and honestly, no regrets. It spreads pretty smoothly (even straight from the fridge, which is a win when you have zero patience in the morning), and the taste is super close to the name brands my kids somehow think they can “tell the difference” with. I’ve used it on bagels, in a last-minute frosting situation, and even mixed into pasta when dinner plans fell apart—held up every time. Is it fancy? No. Does it do exactly what I need it to do without costing extra? Absolutely. Busy-mom verdict: if you’re not trying to impress anyone and just need solid, reliable cream cheese that gets the job done, this is it.
Looks and tastes just like the higher priced brand of cream cheese. love this for making veggie dip. Nice creamy texture when slightly heated. Mixes well with whatever you want. Worth the money. Great for so many things. Cakes, dips and spreads on bagels. Can't go wrong with this.
Great value really does describe the product! First, it's packaged better than any other brand. The two boxes are wrapped in plastic and cannot be tampered with. When it comes to taste, quality, and ingredients, there is no difference from any other brands, so why wouldn't you purchase?
I like these. Great value for the money. I have not done a taste test, but since I'm not picky about cream cheese and it tastes like cream cheese and comes safely sealed, what's not to love? Once opened when I don't use it all, I do put it in my own zipper bag because it does not reseal well once opened and won't last as long (will get moldy) if not put in my own resealable bag. A great snack/appetizer/party/hors d'oeuvres is to get a bag of those mini peppers, chop off the top, take out the tiny ribs and few seeds, stuff with cream cheese, then top with store-bought or homemade chutney and toasted sliced almonds--to DIE for!
Purchase great value cream cheese often. Best Buy for pkgs of 2. I don't run out of cream cheese. I use it for many grecipes spreading is fair, but acceptable. In mixing no problem. It does seem to collect moisture in my container between uses, but not serious. Flavor is fine, purchase often. Love it in mashed potatoes. Sauces, etc. Pricing is good for 2
The cream cheese is as good as Philadelphia. However, the inner foil packaging is poor. It is almost impossible to get all the cheese out of the corners. This throws off the measurements for a recipe. If it has to be supplemented from another package, then all cost savings are lost and frustration is high. IF wrappers are changed by packer, then it would be wonderful!
