I do not like cream cheese I don’t like the taste of it,, but I put it in food I’m cooking and I cannot taste it so yes, I would recommend this.
It’s as good as the name brand. Couldn’t tell the difference! I used it to make a New York style cheesecake my family really enjoyed! Highly recommend it!
The Great Value Cream Cheese Brick, 8 oz Block, 2 Pack is one of those fridge staples that quietly ends up in everything from breakfast bagels to late-night cheesecake experiments. 🥯✨ The texture is smooth, creamy, and easy to spread once softened, with a rich flavor that works just as well in sweet recipes as it does in savory dishes. It blends nicely into dips, frostings, casseroles, and baked goods without feeling watery or overly salty. Having two blocks in the pack is especially convenient because one always seems to disappear faster than expected. It is great for stocking the fridge for recipes, meal prep, or simple everyday use. For the price, quality, and versatility, this is an excellent value. Creamy, reliable, and perfect for keeping kitchen creativity rolling. Definitely a five-star staple. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My husband loves cream cheese on bagels, toast and in dips and he doesn't taste any difference between the name brand vs. store brand. I use it in a recipe for cream cheese pie and it comes out great with the Walmart brand. I also use the Walmart cottage cheese in the recipe and my family loves it. The Walmart brand tastes and bakes just as well as the name brand for about half the cost. I also use cottage cheese as a substitue for half the ricotta when I make lasagna to cut back on calories and fat. I highly recommend this brand - it's just as good at much less the price. Linneaann
If you're using this for baking or for recipes, then it's just as good as the name brand that we all know and love, but that costs quite a bit more. For spreading on bagels or toast, I had to go with four stars. It just wasn't quite as smooth as that other that shall remain unnamed brand. However, it's a good value for the money.
Cream cheese is a creamy, rich staple I always keep in my fridge! It's smooth, slightly tangy, and spreads perfectly on bagels, toast, and crackers. I also love using it in baking—cheesecakes, frostings, and dips come out extra creamy and delicious. It blends well with both sweet and savory recipes, making it super versatile. A must-have ingredient that makes everything taste better!
Good value for the money. The whipped, soft cream cheeses are mostly air and have a weird spongy consistency. This block cream cheese is way better, in my opinion. You can always heat it up in the microwave for a few seconds to make it more spreadable. Tastes good.
I always admit my biases up front and cream cheese a product where I personally prefer the cheaper brands. There are a few products like that in my world where I tried the premium products and I just don't like them as much. The great value cream cheese has a tangy flavor I prefer and is a bit softer than many of the premium brands which I appreciate because it makes it very easy to spread. I also prefer this consistency when I'm using cream cheese as an ingredient because incorporates more easily into a recipe.
My 4 year old daughter loves toast with philly cream cheese. Made my daughter toast and switch to this cream cheese. I didn't tell her i switched brands. She immediately told my "ill yucky., this taste weird" LOL.. Needless to say., the [4] boxes had to get thrown out. Mind you., opening the foil of this cream cheese., it falls apart, a bit more difficult to get out cleanly with a knife to transfer it to the food.
i have purchased and eaten food as if i was wearing a blindfold. i now clearly see that i have been slowly poisoning myself. please review ingredients %26 make informed choices on what you put in your body. these suppliers do not care about you or your health, that is your job.
