Great Value Crisp Rice Breakfast Cereal, 24 oz

These are great for Rice Krispie treats. Good quality at a great price!

Rice Cripies cereal was made from brown rice until recently. Brown rice crisps up nicely and it is vastly superior in nutrition compared to white, just as there is a huge difference between bleached and whole wheat flour. Now that the original is no longer using brown rice, I always buy the GV brand which is the same thing for about half the price. 24 ounces is a big box but this cereal is so light you will tend to make a bigger bowl. I also mix some of this in with my other breakfast cereals. It is good with a sliced banana or some berries.

This tastes like the old rice krispies used to. I don't know what change Kellogg's made to their's, but it's not good. I have become a loyal buyer to Great Value version!!

Was surprised at the large size when it was delivered (didn't read the small print). Tastes just like the higher priced rice cereal and will be lasting me for a good long time.

GV rice crisp rice cereal often my dinner when I just don't want much. I cook home made meals daily from scratch but sometimes I just want a bowl of cereal. This product is easy on my aging teeth, and no issues with stomach . So it's a win for me. I use different milks for added fun.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dangerously Easy to Keep Eating This is definitely a binge food for me. The box is ginormous, but somehow I have no trouble enjoying bowl after bowl. Rice cereal is easy on my tummy, fun to eat with frozen blueberries, and I don't feel the need to add sugar. I also bought it after seeing Jacques Pépin mix crisp rice cereal with melted chocolate and refrigerate it for a quick little treat for his granddaughter. So yes, I bought it for breakfast. But it has ambitions. 😄

I love these. I'll eat them for breakfast lunch dinner it doesn't matter. You can always switch it up with chocolate milk and get some chocolate crispy rice. Wicked good stuff. It DID snap and pop, but no crackle after the pouring of the milk on the surface of the crips. Must be a copyright thing. Good as the big old crackaling brand.

I shop based soley on value. I stopped buying the brand in the large bags due to excessive crushed product. Not a fan of the super thin box though. I feel like I am smashing the box when I am grasping it.
