We always have a few individual size, deep dish pizzas on hand. We've been purchasing the competitor for some years and now that W offers it here, we get this. It's just the right balance of tomato and cheese. Believe me I am a pizza freak. We do use the air fryer and for my particular air fryer brand I do 390 degrees for 6-7 min, depending on who I making it for. Recommend.
I like that my family likes Great Value Deep Dish Pepperoni pizza they have 2 in a box individually wrapped and a great treat for anyone who is hungry. My family enjoys them because they cook quickly and the cheese is abundant and the pepperoni just right that their hunger ends and holds them over until the next meal
The original popular brand of this style of personal pizza costs 50% more. That's a big difference and I'll expect more from the RB version. But for the price this GV version is acceptable if not amazingly affordable. I always add some cheese and mushrooms to my frozen pizzas. This one had sauce that was too mild, it is not 'zesty' as the packaging claims so consider a dash of hot sauce. Bakes pretty fast and evenly because of the small size. The chew is also good for the price, but I can't get to excited about bleached white flour, an abomination of the American diet that costs us all.
These are good for me. I am in the hospital but make my own food, (because you know how bad hospital food is). Put this in the air fryer, after adding some sliced yellow peppers, white onions, and crushed red pepper. Put in air fryer for 5-10 minutes. Remove. Add mozzarella cheese on top after it comes out of fryer, cook for 2 minutes. Add some sliced pepperoni to top off the cheese. Add some leftover diced onion to top of the pepperoni. Add some more mozzarella to the top of that, to hold it all together.. Take out, let cool.. Adding some diced Banquet sausage links to the top(precook them). This is an excellent meal, it fills me up, and I am a huge guy!! Add a can of Pepsi or your favorite beverage, and you have a perfect dinner. Will definitely buy again!!
Pizza is my favorite treat. I rarely eat it but I love these little personal pizzas. I put them in the air fryer (but learned the first time to cover the top) and it is cooked with no mess. The price is much better than the name brand. I wish they still made the supreme ones though.
I bought these trying to save a bit of money. I typically buy the ones by Red Baron, but these have more meat than the Red Baron and taste way better. The only caveat is that they're slightly smaller, but with the price and quality, I really don't mind. If you want a good pizza fix, you can't go wrong with these.
The pizzas are OK, but they are the same price as the little mini red baron pizzas when we buy them at Sam's Club, which I think is crazy beins these are the Walmart brand but I see that a lot here lately with the Walmart brand they're very close to price as the namebrand items but my grandson loves them. I gave them three stars because some pizzas are loaded and then some pizzas have hardly anything on them so I have to add stuff
These used to be really good. They were never the greatest pizza you could buy, but they did taste good and were priced really well. Just purchased some for the first time in quite awhile, and they taste totally different. I think the issue is the sauce...it reminds me of the flavor of those Lunchable "pizzas" that I tried as a kid. I'll eat the 2nd one so it doesn't go to waste, but I will not be purchasing these again unless they revert to the old recipe.
this was unexpected. i used to buy these small great value brand "deep dish" pizzas when they were sold in a 4 pk for $3.98 if i remember correctly. they used to be tasty and a quick snack. these however sold 2 in a pack are NOT the same pizzas. right off they have an unpleasant smell. the tomato sauce they used on this nonsense is basically plain tomato sauce, the same tasteless sauce you buy in a small can for like 40 cents. by not using proper pizza sauce you ruined the pizza basically, i thought maybe i got a bad pkg but i purchased 2 and the other pkg was the same. this was a bad move by walmart, you ruined a good product. the pizza was so bad and the odor was almost unbearable i had to throw them out and take a loss. this is unacceptable. this is the 2nd time in the last year i tried great value freezr products and received garbage. smh. never again. stick with the national name brand if you are reading this. you have been warned.
i felt this pizza was horrible! i thought deep dish meant it was filled with toppings, this is a butt load of dough with a little smattering of toppings. i absolutely love the full size Great Value stuffed crust pizza so i was so sad when i tried this pizza
