I love Swiss cheese and this is half the price of Sargento.
Not a big fan is Swiss bit this is thin cut and a more mild tasting cheese. Had no problem with it lasting a week ( which is about as long as cheese should sit in a refrigerator, so those comp, aiming of it going moldy have to wonder how long they expect it to sit???
I've been on an extra sharp cheddar 🧀 kick for a year or two. Swiss was my dad's favorite cheese and baby swiss is perfect for me. A spicy swiss would be awesome but Walmart is sometimes too cheap to experiment.
we love baby swiss and Great Value is the only sliced baby swiss I've been able to find anywhere without paying the premium price at the deli counter.
These slices are addictive! They separate easily without tSwiss. Or falling apart. Easy to cut and place on charcuterie board. These taste so good. We love baby swiss. Nom nom nom...
I use to buy this all the time but no more. The last 2 packages I bought had a musty smell and taste. Not buying again. The dates we good but the cheese was bad.
Tasteless. Affordable, but not worth buying. I've bought varieties of "baby Swiss" elsewhere ("Alpine Lace", etc.), but this ain't those. This is tasteless. I should be otherwise, but it ain't. OTOH, Walmart's *regular* deli-sliced Swiss is tasty, and I encourage buying it; but not the "Baby Swiss".
Please be aware there is no paper between the slices and the cheese stuck together making it difficult to seperate. The taste was okay but having raggedy cheese slices was not cool. I ended up slices the last few slices into chucks and melting them for grilled cheese. Not what I purchased them for, so I was ticked.
Expired…Cheese is Green!
I like baby Swiss cheese, but not with mold on it. I have never had a problem with any of the cheeses and I have been shopping with Walmart for over two years, so I'm sure it was just an oversight but just double check your food before eating.
