Great Value Deluxe American Cheese Slices, 16 oz, 24 Slices

This is my opinion,KRAFT,SARGHENTOS,all the other cheeses out there, like I said this is my opinion, and you know what they say about OPINIONS CORRECT? Off I go to review a couple more items that I bought,Or lack of something better to do, I'm retired.ALONE and reviewing items I had bought before and why I chose those particular items

This cheese is the best ever for making a grilled cheese sandwich. It melts perfectly %26 smoothly. Even my son who doesn't like American cheese, says he didn't realize how great it tastes on a simple grilled cheese sandwich. This is from a grown man that has always loved a variety of cheese flavors just like his mom!

I had been purchasing the cheese food product until I saw someone try to burn a slice and it didn't burn! I gave a slice the ole burn test myself and it did not burn! I immediately purchased 'real' cheese and I can't believe the difference. This cheese tastes richer and has a better texture. I hang my head in shame that I did not do this sooner.

when comparing the ingredients to the brand name, the Walmart deli cheese had identical ingredients, and less sodium added. The only improvement would be to use paprika for coloring. I preper that natural ingredients be used for coloring to avoid all artificial dye's. I have not checked the taste yet, but as long as the food is healthy on the ingredients list, then the taste will be fine too. I'm not going to add photos or more details, because I don't have time.

of all of the lesser priced packaged cheese slices this comes the closest in taste and texture to the moreexenfive cheese slice packages. Some of the other have the taste and texture of cardboard. This one is well worth buying. it melts fairly well too.

❤️❤️ This American cheese is so delicious. I named brand was advertising this type of keys but of course I always go to the GREAT VALUE brand or the quality and taste and cost. I had to test it to make sure that it would make a really good grilled cheese and boy did it. The cheese melted beautifully like I said, it's all good I'm almost out of it I gotta buy more.

almost very similar taste as Kraft. these are a tiny bit thinner and slightly softer texture, which makes taking one slice out at a time difficult. these are not individually wrapped, just like the Kraft brand. all in all, i woukd buy this brand when im hosting a large gathering/bbq, cookout because if the price and similar taste. But for my personal (2 person household) use I would spend extra for Kraft brand or Harris Teeter brand.

Sooooo, the cheese is fine... IF you can get them to peel apart. The packaging is vacuum sealed so tightly (usually a good thing) that we struggle to get them apart in slices - they come off in fragments. Ugh. We usually buy at Costco and their cheese is slightly staggered, so it's easier to differentiate the slices. In a pinch, we buy these, but they're a nuisance.

great value is decent American cheese as long as you get the one that's an actual cheese not a cheese product I still think this one's way overpriced but you need cheese. this cheese melts pretty well good for making grilled cheese sandwiches works well on burgers steak and cheese eggs I'm just not sure about the quality of the ingredients.

This cheese has a pleasant taste but I wish I had paid attention and noticed that they were not individually wrapped slices before purchasing. The package did not have the capability of being resealed once opened which meant that I had to find a separate container to keep the cheese in as it will otherwise be exposed cheese once you open the package.
